Well,no. the above line shows the mode for camera or video, while the bottom show the options. Those are needed I think, 'cause if they are not there, people would complain about those not being there. The actual picture screen or video screen is not that small, can be viewed to about 8/10 screen.

Pleeeeeaaaase can somebody tell me if the video recording and the camera picture covers the whole screen instead of being a strip in the middle of the screen. My last post was ignored, sob.

Finally the "Quick Share" sticker in my K700 had been take off by itself .... haha ...

The video is choppy but the still picture is good. The built-in flash is also excellent for taking pictures in the dark. Message alert tones are so weak and cannot be heard even if set to its loudest profile.

"you are not understand my instruction".. perfect way to expres yourself, dude, go buck up your english.. To all k700i users, no point getting worked up over the fact that the camera sound cannot be turn off, cause there isn't much you can do.

Firstly, let me tell you that your English SUCKS!.. You said "if you can't do that means u are not understand my instruction or u even don know how to use your phone", since when did English had "u are not understand my instruction"..
Secondly, like what sean said, certain countries do not allow silent camera, so I bet your country isn't the sort who bothers such nonsence, so good for you if you can turn your damn freaking camera sound off, you dumb ass.

I couldnt wait to get this phone. I've been using the SE k700i for a month now. It's a cute little phone.
PROS:
Large memory
Video recording
In-built speaker phone
mp3 play
Great screen display
Great sound
FM radio
CONS:
Camera sound
Sensitive joystick
Short battery life
There are other minor things that bug me like the quick auto keypad lock, left-sided back button, limited choice of message tone. These are just my personal opinion. But overall the phone is great. However, I'm considering getting the Motorola V620...I find that a lot of people who already have the k700i want to get the V620. That just adds me to that list.

FYI most countries has a law against silent camera.... bcuz of the abuse of the camera fones like taking pic in toilets.... so most fones cant off camera sound.... this applies to most k700 sets[ap]

when u want to trun off the camera sound, don't go to he camera mode first, u must turn in off before you r in the camera mode then only its work...if not ofcause you press# until your finger get pain also u cannot off the sound lah....
Let me explain more details.....
1. don't turn your phone in camera/video mode first (important)...
2. U can see a silent sign on the # button right..??
3. So ...press the #button until the sign coming out from you phone.
4. then only u go to the camera mode with just press the button on the top of the right hand side at your phone...

if it not so thick would be perfect...now real chubby...at least better than siemens which always hang have to download firmware after firmware still same problem...i tried se t630 the screen can see refresh lines...not good...

Good for you if you can turn off your camera sound cause I believe your model is k700, not k700i,..so don't make it sound so easy, cause the instructions you left behind did not work at all.
