I couldn't really decide upon the K700i and the new Motorola V620. Any thoughts?
Thank you.

I forgot to mention I also had a Motorola E398 for 4 days but found the software to be terribly slow and unresponsive - also it only plays video and doesn't record it.

TO ALL THE COMPLAINERS OUT THERE: I've had many phones over the last year or two; SE T610, Motorola V525, Nokia 6230 and now a K700i. Initially, after switching to a k700i from a 6230 I was a bit pissed off as the phone froze all the time, the bluetooth switched itself off and the battery life was appalling. So I took the phone back for a replacement (SE will replace the phone if it less than 7 days old and has less than 60 minutes of call time). The new phone was absolutely dine, but still had bad battery life. I have since had the software upgraded from R2A to the newest version R2V and the battery life is now 75% better. Also, the clock screensaver appears when you press the volume buttons in standby mode. This is obviously a software update, so for those of you that say it doesn't work, you just have old software.

SUMMARY: K700i is the best phone that I have had in terms of screen quality, camera quality, sound quality and build quality. Nokia 6230 has an easier operating system but awful build quality (dust gets into the case and the case moves around and creaks when you use it), awful screen, crap camera. Size and weight are pretty much identical.

If I was choosing between the two I would (and have) go for a K700i.

      Hope this helps.

i just buy a USB bluetooth adapter few days ago at low yat. It just cost RM80 to get it. very cheap. lol ... Thus, i able to transmit whatever i wan to my PC or vice versa. Really convenient enough. i feel proud to get this k700c.
Bluetooth is essential, trust me !!! don ever buy hp without bluetooth. or else U will regret

i got the k700i .. for all the people complaining it crashes take it back and sony will update the software ... or the fixing place ... a few versions came out dodgy... secondly batterly life is extended when u run the phone down to complete death for bout 5-7 times... the battery then lasts a day and a half with regular use :D great phone 9 out of 10 for it .. hope to see what else sony is going to bring out ... hate the stupid click on the camera and how quiet the ringer is stupid! but great job sony!

Greer that so called nipple problem you're having can be easily fixed by going into the menu and deactivating the direction shortcuts on the stick

Re the K700i, I cant get the synch to work at all - tried Bluetooth, gave up, bought a USB cable, still no luck. Main system software is crap - badly designed, and faulty. Annoying - the "nipple" still beeps when pressed even with the keyboard locked. The phone software has crashed at least five or six times in the last month and it intermittently locks up or simply stops operating in the middle of a call, even with plenty of signal strength. The nipple button is too easy to accidentaly push to one side when trying to press it down, thus selecting "make a shortcut" or one of the other functions when all you really want is to activate the main menu...sorry...I found Nokia software a lot easier to use and a lot more reliable...

i'm a digi user currently using alcatel 735. Apparently only compatible phone can receive mms from other phone, in my case i can only receive and send mms to 735, even to maxis user. if i send to other types of phone, the receiver will only get id and password to view it on their respective service provider website.
