had some problems with bluetooth.. while trying to send some things to antoher bluetooh phone.. Sometimes the phones get a black out.. you only see a white screen..thats really annoying...you got to restart youre phone..Also the phone can me really slow sometimes..

Yeah-not too happy with this phone at all....
I had a nokia 6230 handset previously- a much better phone.
Problems: The in call volume is far too low, if I am outside I can hardly hear the caller.
The video camera 'picures per second' (or whatever!!) is much less than the nokis meaning that the videos are jerky and the video volume is non existent.. hello silent videos!
Limited memory- the 6230 takes SD memory cards meaning really scalable... sony is limited to 40 meg..
Menus can be jerky too...and the joystick is a pain.
The camera cuts off the screen, and the pictures cant be rotated until they are moved..
Battery life is terrible..
Screen is nice though.

I use to have a cell phone like this and i had a BIG PROBLEM WITH!!!!. When i tried to put new numbers in phone book some of old numbers get lost. This cell phone its a mess only because of software!!!

Anyone else have any problem using the zoom on this phone's camera?
I've only just opened it so it might just need a charge.

Chuan it is hell easy to set the phone as a mp3 ringtone. basically open up the mp3 then go to more and set it as a ringtone or you can do it in the settings under profile. the k700i is a hell sick phone. i have all the settings for all the 3 networks here in Aust

Bought this phone for over a week now... There is no real word to qualify the K700i... It's just terrific... go on Sony Ericsson... I used to used Nokia till model 7210 but now nokia is just a nightmare... Nokia are just following SE but can't beat them...

i know from my previous se that the txting it slow is this still the case with this phone? also i will never buy a blockia again? let me know your opinions please asap?

hey i did some research on this one today, found out that MP3 ringtone option WILL be avalable in the future (2/3 months?) for vodafone users there will be a software update that enables the option. just go into the shop when its avalable and they will flash it for you for free. also its 41 meg memory i've heard also (they advertised it as otherwise tho)

haha LOL ok thanks for giving me helps, i think i will buy this phone soon i now using t610, is quite good but i think k700 is to fill up the t610 disadvancetages. can i ask that the head set is giving us follow by a new k700 phone?

Fantastic Phone, I was a die hard Nokia fan, but SonyEricsson have finally come good. Excellent build quality, both bluetooth and Irda transer a doddle to use, polyphonics impressive, ear piece has been improved and reception holds well. Could do with a memory card but apart from this a impressive combination of features- Nokia be afraid - very afraid.

Isit hard to set MP3 to ringtone? why many people have such a problem about this?...if cannot i wont buy it cause i want mp3 ringtone so much :P

Are you stupid kounthor? It is really simple to set MP3 as ringtone. Only Vodafone users can't set as ringtone MP3. Ask operator why not.
