hey bob...if you wanna choose between the 2. i would suggest that you take k700i cause firstly the screen is better in resolution and larger, and the build of the phone is much better than 6230... the only negative thing about it is the battery life... last me about 2 days... hjope all this can help you.
I love the look of this phone - but have no money to buy!Can you send a free one??
hey guys, im stuck on deciding whether to get a k700i or a Nokia 6230. The only thing stoping me is that i heard that the battey life on the k700i only last for a day(with regular usage) and i heard that the camera takes fuzzy pictures... is all this true?
it would help me if a user of this phone could answer these questions, thanks in advance
thanks striker for that webby... but is this the only web that offers k700i themes?
Can Anyone tell me if this phone has good camera quality and also the video recording quality ??? I have a T610 and the cam quality is complete s**t !!! And for people who say get a digital camera some people wanna phone with decent features !!!!
another point for SE for NOT having express-on housings. I hate dust particle being collected between my housing and LCD when i was using the Nokia 6610, It's very irritating. With the K700i's soild housing, it's suberb.
you can find k700 themes at the following address, as someone previously mentioned about three pages back. http://www.mobile9.com/4images/categories.php?cat_id=94
anyone know where to download themes for this mobile?
Lovely
hi everyone... how to display the time when the phone is not in used.. when the screen is black
i'm waiting to get one more set when the price had dropped to S$400++
K700i price is dropping rapidly. widthin 1 month, the price had fall nearly S$200
and for the rest of you aussies out there, this phone wont officially be released in australia until late july.
to clarify a few things.
the 1648x438 resolution refers to the size of the pictures in the panorama camera mode, where u link 3 pictures together. the camera is VGA.
the k700 has 32MB of memory whereas the k700i has 41MB. the phone has 40 chord polyphonic ring tones instead of 32 chord in Т610/Т630. also has RS232 cable support.
the k700 is restricted to video recordings of 30 seconds while the k700i allows you to use the rest of the remaining memory.
The hole which can be seen above the lens was supposed to be used for the camera’s shutter. But just few moments before the official launch this feature was removed, because it affected loudspeaker badly, volume was decreasing.
note that the lack of exchangeable memory card slot ('hotswap' which will be included in the upcoming T-series, built on the same platform as k700) keeps the price down noticeably.
also the screen quality is superb.
I charge my phone for more than the standard 4 hours on first charge (it helps the battery life) - the life of the battery is ok, you've got to remember that if your messing about with it all the time (new toy syndrome) the battery life is going to be pretty lame..
great phone!!! but where to hang the phone strap!!!
o yea i forgot to add.... is the camera viewfinder very responsive? or the same as the T630?
and btw, hows the battery life of your k700?
K700 users,
Do you guys charge your phone for 4 hrs as stated in the manual or do u guys just charge it till the battery is full?
is the ringing volume loud? and where do u find it in malaysia? can we get it any cheaper?
