very good phone. i think the price should be cheaper
- k700 vs 7610
so k700 has:
-a better display
-better sounds(beats+fm radio)
-better connectivity
-better video recording and playing abilities
-better pic quality on vga resolution
-better price
-better size
+and 7610 has mpixel quality better than the extended thing on k700
-but no flash to use it night
+sumbian os so i can play sega megadrive games
+awesome beauty, to pick up chicks
+it is more expensive and it looks much more expensive, to pick up chicks
+women love the mirror in the back.
=>imo k700 is better made,
but 7610 looks much more impressive and has no major lucks.

When i first see this phone, i fell in love with it coz it looks so darn nice! And the features too! However, its a pity that we cant enhance the memory with a mmc.

Hi Kaleem,
ustroncs has given me problems also. Glad to find a similar person with this experience. They sell defective phones that are not even originals, they are prototype phones. Its an illegal business and one day they will go down. Did you ever get your money back? I did after arguing and threatening them. Some guy with an accent thinks he can fool me in thinking my K700 is new and original when the dam thing was in chinese and had sand inside the screen. Ustronics is a black market dealer. Hope you got compensated Kaleem. Dont let these a$$oles scam you.

If anyone ever bought this from ustroincs, its refurbished phone from asia sold as new. They will eat ur money and laugh at you.

i realise something, which is... alot of those who like nokia come into this forum n keep saying how better nokia is than sony ericsson, but when i go into 7610 & 6230's forum, i can hardly see SE users criticizing nokia phones. Hmm.. does it mean tat those ppl r really childish? how do u think?

comparing with nokia 6230 or 7610 the K700 is better in all respect, belive me.

The k700i has a 41mg memory it is an updated version of the k700, it is one of the best phones out on the market at the moment especially as you can get it free on most 12 month contract deals. A lot of people expect to much from the phones on here they want a camera a mp3 player a video player all in one then complain when its not got enough memory or the camera quailty is bad!! so all you little kids on here grow up! The new K700 from Sony-Ericsson is the best phone I ever seen. I read about it in the Connect magazine(the Romanian version).

God, stop complaining about phones having crappy camera capturing quality. Get a real digical camera! Kudos to you DMX, you know your stuffs. Lots of peeps here chit chat not knowing what they're talking about.

to dmx... hi! just got the news that k700 is already available in my country. i will be getting one for myself tomorrow but it's k700i. is it true that it has a bigger memory(41mb) than k700(32mb)? how can i be sure about that memory thing? tnx!

The camera quality is crappy, just like any vga Motorola camera the "1MP enhancement" is 100% BS... the Moto e398 is a much nicer phone, in almost every aspect.

I thought the ringer was fine volume wise, it compares to other sony ericssons on the market (t610 etc). The video playbacks not great but i've compared it with a 6230 and the k700 wins hands down.
