Just recently some weird things have started happening to my Sony Ericsson K700i. It's really annoying (and load-consuming, at that!)--it keeps on sending blank SMS to my dad, and then later on to my cousin. I can't say it's a defect with my SIM card, either, because I've already used two cards but regardless of what SIM you put in it the phone itself still continues to send blank messages. Although I once connected it to our laptop (which had the Rontokbro virus at that time), it hasn't even shown any signs of such virus manifestation; but my hunch is that maybe an unseen bug could be the reason of this unusual anomaly. I really hate it. Just this morning I lost fourteen precious bucks because of this stupid problem. I don't know if it's just sick or maybe it's grown a mind of its own. If that is the case, then maybe another mean thing this rebel's planning to do is humiliate me. My classmates always laugh at me because I got this (nice) phone with so many games (16 of them, indeed!) and yet whenever we sit down to play them the phone always spoils the fun by turning off even though the batt level is full, no matter what kind of battery you use on it. It's horrible. Anyhow, I just wanna advise you guys--if you got a K700, please--keep it away from viruses. And you know what to tell your other friends about it.

battery lasts for ages if you go to options and then go to light and then go to powersave - stays on for daysssss. but the joystick is fine after you have cleaned out the drit

Hey, does anyone actually know how to take off the covers of this phone? I've heard it's possible, but I'm kind of scared to do it. I'm very willing to, though, because my phone's looking terribly like trash with all those scratches it's got everywhere... and besides the camera key is rusty. To save unsaved numbers, go to your "phone book", go to "new contacts"', go to the "new number" and then press "add, press "lookup" and then press "unsaved" and you'll find all the number that are unsaved there and press Ok to save it and also add the name to it and save.
Or better still press the "Calls" button from standby and then scroll to the number you want to save and press "more" and then press "save number" and carry on from there.

no way man the joystick does not break easyly if you use it hard then yep but it is a good phone with stock memory in it i put a mega pixle camera in it and cost me more than you think. GOOD PHN

yes,the joystick is indeed pathetic.i have had the phone serviced thrice in 1 year!!!!memory is another big issue,40 MB is just not sufficient.the FM wires get damaged very soon,and the charger is acting up too!!!anyone intending to buy this one...pls forget it.nokia rules.

I love my fone, I however am looking for instructions to viewing my unsaved numbers on my fone. A friend in the UK told me I can view my unsaved numbers from the it. Anyone knows how?

i absolutly love this phone. brilliant.
when the joystick get sticky i just take the front cover off and clean the joystick area
joystick works perfect after that.

wow! at firsti love dis phone but riyght now the memory irritaes me alot, my phone only had the capacity of more or less 10 Mb, is there anyway to fix it???

The joystick is useless,dont move up anymore...only had the phone a year!!!!!
