Though this damn good phone offers a crystal clear sound, it fails to produce better pictures thru its camera. When we are about to capture a picture, its so clear but after capture it produces a little blurr..Hearin mp3 is somethin heavenly but headset undergoes depreciation presently. Unlike any other phone in its category, we cant zoom in while at 640*480 cam mode. And it offers poor quality photos in bad light. What it badly misses is a memory expansion slot. But i would recommend this phone to people lookin for a best phone in its category which has mp3, radio, bluetooth, IR, good camera and that too with an affordable price tag..

I have had this phone for just over a year. The camera is great, bluetooth works very well, but the navigation joystick has jsut given up the ghost, rendering the phone COMPLETELY unusable. My service provider have told me it cannnot be fixed. I WOULD NOT GET THIS PHONE FOR JUST THAT REASON.

Currently my K700i has 28454 KB of space left out of 41 MB .Any Picture with pixels of 320*240 has a average size of 17KB. That means I can still take 28454/17=1673 Pictures!
Amazing! Also I have heard that if I use MP4 then I can store around 25 songs though I don’t know it’s true or not. Photography is my hobby and for my hobby K700i is The Best Phone at this price with the beauty of Dual front design. I love its design from both fronts. Especially the design of the camera is marvelous. Though Sony Ericsson offers lots of Camera phones in various price and functionalities but I felt in love with this phone when I saw its camera. I also appreciate Rubber Cork at the bottom of it because it hides the connecting slots and make it smooth and good looking.

The sound of shutter cannot be switched off as to protect other people's privacy.But you can do the following :-
1. Dial your toll free customer care number.
2. when call starts , press joystick and select "main menu"
3. Now go to the camera and take pictures till toll fre call goes.

i did turn off all phone sounds but still the camera makes the shooting sound... maybe because of the firmware? i dont know..i really like to have it silenced since the mob is always on silent mode due to my work, and am fine with that but the camera sounds pisses me off sometimes :) hehe sry for the wording. should i choose firmware? another question i like to ask is... i am thinking about debranding the mob.. installing its original software instead of vodafone`s. will it effect the phone in a bad way.. such as an old firmware.. any help is well appriciated.. thnx

I bought my SE 700i about three weeks ago. It's a very nice phone compare to what you can get with the features in respact to other big phones. However. I'm not too happy with the way the battery is going down every now and then. It's always a big dis appointment for me to have my battery been charge in the middle of the day. If I have a choice now, I would prefer something else. Definately, not this battery problem of a thing

the camera sound can be switced off when you turn off all the phone tones.

K700i is a great phone I got it ma birthday and it hasn't let me down. Although I have the same problem with the camera sound but I just don't take pics often enough to worry. I recommend this phone as it's GREAT!!!

i had a k500i before.i got it replaced with k700i because it is getting switched off frequently.now i see the same problem with this one also.the navigation key is also too bad.what the hell is this?should i reinstall the software?
