Sony is going poor on sales.. Even the psp is selling badly.. So get your facts right and don't pretend to be mature.. Nokia have promised to make millions of sales after 2010.. U will see.. Their sales is getting better and u should be dated with your information right, brother..

I think for £100 this fone is great its miles ahead of any other fone 4 that price.
some people cant afford 2 spend £300 on a fone. its got mp3, radio, bluetooth, video and more.How many fones have all that 4 £100

Too many days now i'm using K700i. Suddenly i was reading the user opinions and discovered that there are two groups of users, one is nokia users and one is SonyEricsson users. And both of them are trying to place there phones as the best phone. I think the major point is what you want.
A sysmbian os phone so that u can use almost every software for mobile phones with comparetively less powered camera, with less pixel display but bigger screen size and with less attractive look (that's what i think at least) with good keys when it comes to typing sms, plus with a less sound clarity with less strength for mp3.
Or,
You want a non-symbian os phone which doesn't have EDGE and Symbian OS, but have best Camera quality (read reviews for N90) even better than the best of smartphones, decent enought big display with stunning pixels, Very rich sound quality and strength (mp3) compared with ipod (read reviews for w800) and alomost ALL types of connectivity u can probably imagine. But with less comfortable keypads with attractive design (for me at least), and with very less software support.
so afterall it's your decision, which side will you fall for.

Well for the simple reason this is Sony ericcson i'll give this probably 1/10. even that im afraid is a lil too much... he he

i could asy this fhone sceen uses to much power. Mah he could saty alive up to about week, but using more :(
but it REALY BETTER than Nokia 6230 ;)

What do you mean Jax/Angle/Cena/ whoever, when you say without Symbian OS? Remeber only phones with Symbian features can get virus and it's not rare it happens alot nowadays, and just because a phone don't have symbain its rubbish? Nonsense!
I rate this phone 10/10 with confidence and yes you got it right it is Sony, one of the worlds richest companies for electronics in the world...richer than Nokia i'm afarid, don't be sad!

Without the symbian os and only vga cam, i give this fone a 6/10 rating.. Very obvious.. Its a sony!

Terrible reception, mo memory expansion slot, noisy camera, poor pic shot at night, weak battery life and useless digital zoom..

hey i think this phone, for wat it worth, is so cool, i mean, lookin at the size and all that, i was really surprised and excited bout the thrilling features it got. I think its gonna be a 8.9 out of 10 as a rating for me, or will i jus say 9 out of 10, yep! for its features, i ll give it a 9 out of 10. it was given to me as a present but funny enough i cant jus let go of it, i cld get another one but i en gonna ever get rid of it.. So.. thats bout it.

I've had my k700i for a year now, i got it for my birthday last year and i couldn't be more satisfied. The camera is gr8 i actually got gr8 shots that i treasure with it. The MP3 player is ok but i had to get the songs on thru a P900, which leads to the connectivity issue.Being solely dependent on bluetooth and infrared is a big disadvantage. that means that u have to get a bluetooth adapter. This is not so cool. Overall i think the K700i is a great performer, i'm thinking of upgrading to an S700i or a P910i(though i don't think it's a famale phone)but i hope they will perform just as well. I think also the battery life is ok if u charge it sufficiently.

Jax, get yours facts straight! Maybe you would like a smartphone, but there is a lot of us who don't want smartphones, who just want a quality phone.. (Nokia isn't quality, at least that model I had wasn't at all) I said ppl are different, so whats important is this: what you think -I don't care about that one bit. It's irrelevant.

well it is a very good phone haveing every thing in it and small size make it beutifull my question is from where i get free software or applications or addon and can i use symbian baised software for k700i like smart

The fact that the SE K700i has a big colour screen (whether it drains out the battery or not) is a good thing, and proves my point when i stated the reasons why the battery runs out fats, as for Nokia's, like the annonomous man said, they are expensive ofr nothing, their features are low quality and boring (the screen expecially)!

I love Alcatel mobiles although everyone seems to hate them (I don't want to even comment that couse those people are most untolerant and narrow-minded couse those people never used an alcatel phone so, honestly, they can't say that), I am using 525 for 2.5 years with battery I got with it, I don't have to recharge it 5-6 days.. It's really perfect. If I would listen what everybody's saying than I would never buy that phone, and I'm glad I did. Nokia is among the worst phones, they are the one who are stealing from people, that Nokia 6230i costs (here) 550$ while it has smaller screen, less number of screen colors than samsung D500 which costs 450$.. Then Nokia 7270, 7280, 7610 which actually don't offer anything spectacular.. (VGA, 65K colors, and less 15 MB memory) and costs from 560$ to 660$ AND they are 1 year old allready.. And have you noticed how quickly they released 6230i after 6230, couse they realized that VGA cam, 6MB mem is really too lousy features, so they rushed with an upgrade so they wouldn't lose their part in the market.. I don't even want to mention Nokia I used - which battery was dead after 5 months, and then new original bought was dead after 4 months.. and how I feel mugged, robbed.. Nokia doesn't deserves first place in the market! And I will never buy Nokia phone again! They are the thieves. SE at least offers something. K700, though is old, offers more then most Nokia phones.
Please, be tolerant! People are different and want different things.. Some of them want new phones, top features and don't want use 1,3 MP camera if there's allready 2MP.. (where Nokia also lose out) And some people don't even want camera phone and top features.. So don't listen what other people are saying, what you want (and like) matters.
I say: Nokia produce a small screen so that it doesn't drain the battery unlike the poor inexperienced SE, creating a huge screen for the k700i that drains battery quickly.. And same goes for the colors u mentioned.. be wise when u say stg.. Well when u say Nokia fones at the 7*** series are stealing ppl money, what is the logic in this so-called stealing situation as u say as ppl buy it? If ppl are given opportunity to tests fones and they like what they buy with thoughts for high value and features, they will buy it. If not, then they won't buy it.. If they are smart ppl, they will go for smartfones at a low price.. Just to let u know that k700i is already a crappy fone, its not even a smartfone and u ppl say its the best.. and bla.. bla.. bla.. Get your facts straight..

But Jax, why should we care about waht people think about are phone camera, not even phone, phone camera? I swear we buy phones to satisfy us, and i can honsetly say because i have had my K700i for over a year now ican say it could still last me a few good months (6 maximum), either way i still prefer the K700i over the 6230i because the 6230i's features to me are to simple adn i love challenges (even though the k700i isn't a big cahllenge) its decent enough.
Lastly SE are very smart but not for ripping people off (they just don't do taht) for creating Hi-tech futuristic phones that only people who are prepared for the future will like!
