Pls can any body tell me why my phone (K750i) shows 95% full message memory after 165 messages in my inbox.

to me this was the finest phone i ever had, it has everything.
But there is one BIG problem about this phone, the joystick sucks big time!

all Nokia phones have EDGE and HSCHD SE K750i has none of those which is a bad drawback becuase the camera on it is the best!

I have this phone since October 2006 last year,, and it works great,, I've been trying to search and compare phones of different brands but theres no other phone that has the same functions and price,, particularly the micro mode and flash,,i also bought 1G memory and planning to buy 2G,,
price is fine and the features rocks!! great phone! i love it!!!

Hi zeetbear here___ Thanks 4 the compliment dear___you wanna know about EDGE??? so i am explaining___ EDGE (Enhanced Data GSM Environment) is a faster version the Global System for Mobile (GSM) wireless service designed to deliver data at rates up to 384 Kbps and enable the delivery of multimedia and other broadband applications to mobile phone and computer users. The EDGE standard is built on the existing GSM standard, using the same time-division multiple access (TDMA) frame structure and existing cell arrangements. Ericsson notes that its base stations can be updated with software.
EDGE is not necessory for common(usual) users, its for Business & commercial purposes____ if you are among them.... buy another set like K550i or W850i____ K750i provides Connectivity in every flavour conceivable, with GPRS, tri-band GSM, e-mail, Web, Bluetooth, Infra-red, and USB sync cable. In terms of mobile phone related features, the K750i supports GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz networks, as well as HSCSD and GPRS..........
Additional to the internal functions that have access to Internet data connectivity, external computing devices are also able to access the K750i’s data pipe via any of the three aforementioned local connection methods (i.e. data cable, IR, Bluetooth)____

Trust me this phone's camera and autofocus is way beyond compared the all new K550i which is a cybershot.The 550i's camera has a 3.8mm radius whereas the K750 has 4.8mm radius there fore the K550i produces lower quality pictures and the K550i's autofocus is horrible especially in micro mode compared to the K750.

Someone inquired____ I have a question...... i used the usb connection to drag n drop some mp3's in the phones memory card but i dont know how i can find them in the phone...........i just bought this phone n i have to say i m pretty pleased with it :D
Hi___zeetbear here___ dear yo should place your data as follows___
1). All pictures taken with the camera will by default be stored on the Memory Stick Duo™ and the in the DCIM folder.
2). Pictures must be saved in \MSSEMC\Media files\image\
3). Music must be saved in either \MSSEMC\Media files\audio\ or in \MP3\

dear rajeev,
I believe it's youre firmware that causes this "greenish hue" in your picture
I believe they call it "barrel distortion"
it seems the barrel distortion is worse in new firmwares
and the new k750i firmware not only produces inferor results compared to the previous firmwares but also it records videos at slightly inferior quality
but these new firmware's on the other hand, preforms significantly better in other areas...except camera...

Hi zeetbear here.....dear some people may have trouble adjusting to working with the JOYSTICK, it will never breaks easily....if you use it sensibly,,,, JOYSTICK may be defective due to...Dirt, carbon, moisture, hard handling,,, I have had no issues at all. I think single JOYSTICK is much better and easy to navigate than a number of buttons you can see on some Sony's new models___ which is more or less same in terms of features.
Functionality-wise, this phone is Great- 2MP camera, radio, mp3 player (ability to add 2GB memory card as well), nice display and a good battery life. I can happily recommend this phone to anyone, including you........takecare
