Hi friends___zeetbear here___i have a simple technic to maintain 100% joystick performance___
While some people may have trouble adjusting to working with the JOYSTICK, I have had no issues at all. I think single joystick is much better than a number of buttons you can see on some Sony's new models__ which is more or less same in terms of features.
Functionality-wise, this phone is Great- 2MP camera, radio, mp3 player (ability to add 2GB memory card as well), nice display and a good battery life. I can happily recommend this phone to anyone.

this phone offers the best in its category. but sonyericsson should have shown attempts to improve the joystick. that is still a matter of concern. nothing is perfect .

i have this since aug 2005 when i was 12 yrs old. just after using it for 1 month i've got big problem with the joystick esp the down key which is the most used. haha now that i am 14 yrs old i'll never wanted to suffer from the annoying joystick. this is just a perfect fon for me before but as time passes by i'll be needing more features of having a phone. i'll buy the sony ericsson p990i next next week bcoz it's cheap here in the philippines.

I've been using K750i since Feb 2006, so it has been with me for a year.
I like the phone still. Good reception (I'm in Washington DC with T-mobile) + great camera.
There is a *huge* problem with joystick, like others have said, becomes annoying when you've to push hard to get it scrolling - it's hard to the point that it hurts your fingers.
I do want a new SE Cybershot phone, but I think I'll wait for one that does not come with a joystick... (So far, all of them come with it... I've no idea why... the joystick just sucks.)

great phone!but i've changed with a w810i and now i'm even pleased , same camera better music sound ..better looks .

Hi... zeetbear here__ Alpha i think you wanna lock the contents like pictures,videos,music....m i right???___if you wanna this type of security,,,i can solve your problem,,,you simply give your mail address to me,,,,then i will send you this software__or you totally lock your phone by providing startup_phonelock_ password in phone lock security settings___ i agree with you__This phone is splendid__takecare

I love this phone! have had it for months now n i am more than satisfied with it. i am much much happier than i was with my nokia. ITS A GREAT BUy & worth it!

Really great phone have it month or more but if battery life better may be due 512 momery it consume battery by the way its great but now nokia and other companies taking place of sony.As nokia now rising its music phones with new and great features but sony still didnt interdouce new things like 16M display with big size,WiFi,Tv and others feautre.PlZ SE do something I didnt want you loose and wish you top brand in the world.

I wanna just comment about the stand-by time and memory. according to the official site of sony ericsson it's 440 hours. Also the phone memory is 34mb

Hi dear i already wrote Full step by step instructions to update Firmware___ you should carefully follow my previous post___you should have proper internet connection for update___and you should select your region correctly............takecare
