hi guyz!!
me i ask if this phone can support any memory that was high speed data memory...?

k750i n all SE phone are great phone but now Nokia,Motorola n Samsung may hit the market because they have interdouce new features and also improve hardwares especaily display.As Nokia alreday using 16M display but now Motorola are also using.Plz SE try to improve display and other hardware so will compete with other companies n hit market and also interduce new features in phones n display interface!

I also use K750i. I want to buy 4gb memory card for it, what do u think. I also like this phone cos of it's clear photo and video but the mp3 volume is very low....lol

When I download any mono phonic ringtone from any provider, it comes through SMS but I cant save it as ringtone, how do I do it. Thanks in advance.

You can upgrade the firmware to w800i by using a special software that connects to the phone memory in a similar way to the SEUS software (Sony Ericsson Update Service).
It's quite easy to do, but it's risky, and voids the warranty of the phone.
The change in sound effect is minimal. Megabass is already there in k750i, but those who have low volume problem, it improves a little bit. (But still not like the older firmwares).
The player is much better than k750i's player, we all know that. Easy to update tracklists, change tracks etc...
One additional feature is that you can turn ON the Music player without turning on the phone, which means you can use it as a standalone MP3 player.
Everything else remains the same. But there are softwares that enable you to tweak the phone completely. They're not recommended though.

There are a lot of features in w810i which are not there in k750i. The price difference is justified. w810 has got a better and faster interface, better music player, EDGE etc... If you have the money, I'd say go for it.
w800i, which is now phased out, was comparable with the k750i. Same features, just the Walkman player extra. (Which by the way, you can load into the k750i too).

Yes you can use the 2 GB MS without any problems. I think you can use a 4 GB MS too, but I'm not sure. The Sandisk website says it's 4 GB cards are supported. I'll check it out when I can. About hanging, the card almost always hangs initially. Maybe the 4 GB takes longer to stabilize. Will let you know though.

If ever i will purchase this phone i will try to change the 64mb to 2 gb..

As confirmed by DELTAR in his previous post, you can use a 2gig card no problems at all. My brother-in-law, also a K750i user, said the same.
I have yet to explore this phone 'cause i just bought it last week. Hehehe.... If i have questions at least i know where to ask.

Hi
After connect your phone to pc via "MPE" run "Multi-Sync" in Extras menu so go to messages tab and after selecting all sms select copy into the archive.
what's your problem ?

In pakistan, a brand new K750i is available for US$191...u can get a used one for around US$130-140 depending upon the condition of the phone...

Each 20 secs there would be a beep sound while recording calls. If anybody knows how to mute this sound please tell me.

I found out from a friend that its not possible to use a 4gig card. If you do, the phone stops or hangs. Too bad :( . Good thing our cards are hot swappable.

Besides the fact that W810i is $64 more than K750i, for the average budget-conscious consumer like me, i'll still go for the latter. For me, these two don't differ much, more so to make a big impact on the consumer. Feature-wise only, ok?
The only alure W810i over K750i is the WALKMAN PHONE badge and design scheme. Sony Ericsson's marketing team really nailed it with this kind of branding technique. Making it more savvy and sexy to the eyes. The price though is a big issue. If you compare Z530 against W300i, the only difference is the latter has improved screen quality (TFT256k) and a radio. But its price difference is roughly $38.
BTW, how much does the K750i cost in other countries? Here in the Philippines its 10k or roughly $200. W810i cost P13,200/$264.
