by the way im james (forgot to put name down on last post), u asnwerd my question quite a while ago and this is what u sed
If you're sure that you got all the GPRS packages from both SE web site and your service provider installed on your phone, then "Nicole" is making a point here, only if she really meant the describtion "sometimes" !.
wel im not sure that iv got all the GPRS packages from both SE web sites and that the service provider installed is on my phone, how do i check that and what do i need to do to activate and install em!! i have contract so its not my phone credit!
Thanks, in advance ;)
I have been using the phone for about five months, it is getting old as new phones will be comming with higher Camera resolution 3MP and up.
I was told that I can access the phone book through my computer when I attach the cable,, I tried but I could not get through,, what shall I do to get the names on the computer,,,
There's nothing we can do about that, it's a power saving technique that turns the light off automatically after a few seconds of inactivity/idleness, keep moving the joystick or just press the back key when it turns off to light it on again.
It's not a K750 problem, the pictures which you receive are small in size/resolution by nature, K750 has nothing to do with that.
However you can zoom in those picture in your PC using the mouse wheel, also you can zoom in them on your phone, just select the picture and click on "View", click on "Horizontal" and then click on the + volume key to zoom in the picture, when you get to the best zooming -with the less possible pixilated result- save that result by clicking on "Save".
Well done man, good job (Y)
my joystick stopped working but i fixed it by blowing out all the dust and wiggling it round a bit.
can anyone tell me how to increase the size of the pictures that i receive from other phoen when i get it on my 750i its extremely small especially from the computer even when i increase teh sizes.its only large when i take a picture from the phone help........me plz
hi doul.thanks for your reply.but i dont want backlight for reading the clock.
sometimes when i play some games screen backlight gose black and i nedd too prees ke bottun to turn it back.what shoud i do?is this problem was of the game?or phon?or it's normall? thanks's again.you're wery usefull dude ;) i'm kidding .thanks and bye and take care
- Yaa, don't worry, I know I guaranteed it to you, but in case anything wrong happened, I don't know you -in arabic "MA3RAFAKSH"- :P
You'll be satisfied with/from it, don't worry.
- I'm sure that the car charger is available -don't know the price though for I don't have it-, but I'm not sure if the disk-stand is available in Egypt or not, you can inform about it while buying the phone -if you're gonna buy it from SE local (authorized) agent-.
- As far as I know, there's no PDF reader available for it yet.
- Yes, you can listen to MP3's through a bluetooth headset, though I don't recommend that cause the quality will be too low for the play-back superb quality of the K750, unless you'll buy a stereo (two ears) bluetooth headset.
Yes, you can use the phone and totally manage it without the joystick, but there are some certain areas/application that can't be controlled by the soft keys and have to be controlled/used by the joystick only -i.e. PhotoDJ and MusicDJ-.
Don't worry, if the joystick just acted up with you, you can replace it with a new working one anytime you desire -for free if you're still in the warranty time-.
There's no option to do so, instead you can select the "In Car" profile, that will keep the screen back-light always on, but in return, say bye bye to your battery power after a couple of hours.
Anyway, you know the phone WILL always enter the clock mode, there's no option to stay in stand-by mode forever, if you just wanted to see the clock, you can press one of the volume keys -thouse on the right-hand side of the phone- to turn on the light for another 20 seconds to be able to see the clock.
No need to keep the light always on.
hi every body.i have problem with my k750i.
how can i increase the time for backlight of the screen.i mean what should i do ten the backlight turn off lately.
thanks.i'm waite for ur opinion.
A quick question for the owners out there.
Are there ways use the phone without the joystick? Or if the joystick screws up, is the phone useless?
@DoUL , Thanks for your reply,
i'm in Egypt too & i'm a Communications Engineer , :) , anyway i'm going to buy the Sony k750i next weekend , Wish me Luck .
I'll be intouch with you incase anything happened , Dunt forget , you Guarantee it :)
. Another Question for you , is its Car-Battery Charger , Home Charger Avaliable in egypt? and how much does it costs if you know ? ,
Also is there a PDF Reader for it ?
Is it possible to listen to mp3s through bluetooth , Wireless headset ??
THis phone HAZ GOTTA be da best and sleekest cell around. IT's got a heck of a CAMERA (2 MP), the coolest themes... and THE FAStest net access evaaaa!!!! Just a click and u're already logged on... SO all u ppl with nokia handsets... it's about time u said bye bye... to nokia and helLOOOOOO K750i !!!
I'm using a 2gb memory card rite now and it works without any problems
SE K750 supports up to 4 GB of MS Duo Pro type, so the 2 GB of MS Duo Pro type which you're going to buy is fully supported without any disadvantages or negative effects on both hardware and software levels.
i am planing to buy 2GB memory stick
does this phone support 2 gb? or are there any chances of any problem with 2 gb om K750i?
I believe that "My friends" option/feature is more like yahoo/msn messengers using GPRS connection, but I'm not sure whether it will work\connect with any other GPRS mobiles with similar feature or it will work with other K750 users only.
As for the mail and "how to" of the whole thing -and pop3 e-mail client question-, I'm afraid that I won't be able to help you.
I don't have these settings set up in my device for accessing the WAP and consequently my e-mail from my device via the GPRS connection is pretty costly from my service provider "Vodafone Egypt".
Contact all involved companies/people at SE, your service provider and your e-mail company (Google, hotmail or Yahoo) about your questions -each with his intended question-.
@DoUL, can u pls help me w/ the "my friend" option. is this like the POP3 or SMTP or somthing like the yahoo msnger? is it network base or for as long as u have a GPRS u can have access to it. and one more thing, i want to activate my emial under the message option of the k750i. i think it will only work on a WAP enable pop3 email clients. d u know of shuch free client. i think the giants like yahoo and hotmail dsnt offer the pop3 on the free editions
mikokorimoto, thanx for the thnx hehehe hope u like the K750i, post any question and i'll/we'll try to answer them.
No worries man, it's good to have understandable and observing people around you.
- The blank screen thing is a firmware known issue, updating the firmware should eliminate it, just go to your nearest SE customer care center to have it updated there as I told you, or check my post addressed to "maani" couple of pages earlier to learn how to manually update the firmware.
- As for the battery issue, it's normal to be such crappy in earlier days of mobile usage, but after a while it should become more stable and reliable, but if you already have the phone for a long time now and the battery is still crappy, then I suggest having it checked or even replaced in one of SE customer care centers.
No, there is neither a default/built-in real player into the K750 nor an add-on additional/executable application available for K750 yet.
Try switching off the phone and taking out the battery for a short period of time, then put it back on and switch on the phone again, that should solve that mini hang/freeze.
If it didn't work, take your phone to one of SE customer care centers to work it out.
Software means reliability in both performance and easiness of usage.
You may not believe my words if I told you not to worry, or you may take my words as a fanboy words, instead I'll invite you to go to your nearest mobile store and play a little with a K750 device and you'll tell me about your experience and thoughts after ;)
Also, read some in-depth reviews with snapshots of the phone menu to know a little about it.
All in all, you won't be disappointed, that I gurantee to you.
Daym, this reminds my of yahoo nowadays, always full of BOTS :S
