hey soh1dful, reguarding ur post. "Just bought 750i barely 2 weeks. Tried out the video function today but it only let me take 9 secs worth of image...afterwhich it just stop. Is there anything wrong with my phone? My memory card is still at its max capacity of 64MB. Can anyone help me out?"
very simple. when u go into ur video mode, go settings>shoot mode>high quality video.
this will do the job. video session will last depends on how much space u have on ur memory card.

ASK. K750i is nowhere on u.s Sony Erickson website either. Not on products page and nowhere under support page. Nowhere.
I am asking because maybe because of the crashing problem some people have experienced they discontinued it. I don't know. I want to buy it but not if they discontinued it. I sent an email to sony asking to elaborate but thought maybe any of you have noticed that this phone is simply gone from u.s sony erickson page.
Its no longer featured as "coming soon" because it's not coming soon. Its already out and has been out for a while now. The W800i is coming soon and AFAIK, Aug 12th is the release date in the UK.
I have noticed that SE K750i no longer is fetured on sony erickson websist as "comming soon" product. Does anyone know what's the deal with that. Yeastrday it has been there. Tody is gone. Has it been discontinued ???
Correction: Here is the link
I'm getting my K750i on monday, and monday evening I'm leaving for the hollidays. Therefore I want to put a few songs on my phone, can anyone tell me if it works proparly with win98, or do I need to download an upgrade or something?
Here is some more info. Looks like the freezing problem is not unique to k750i. I will be 100% honest with you now. Once I bought SE T610, it wasn't even an hour when the phone froze. A complete freeze. I had to take the battery out and put it back. After a while, it froze again and again. I was fuming as I spent good money on it. I decided to sell the phone, I sold it with a much lower price, even though I only had it for a week. ANYWAY.... now check this out: A review of the T630. Check out the problems stated.
Some of you have stated there is a new version of the k750i which fixes the freeze problem. Can anyone please support this by providing any links? I emailed SonyEricsson about two nights ago asking them to clearify if the freeze problem is real because I want to buy the phone but no reply so far except for the auto-reply message. At the moment I am not buying this phone until this freezing problem is resolved. I mean, My ancient Nokia 3330 keeps freezing over and over and over again since day one and this is one of the *main* reasons I want to upgrade. I don't want to run into the same freeze problem again thanks.
I just hate it when people blame their own faults on a cellphone (that can't defend itself). I swear to god, this cellphone has one of the best network receptions ever.
Hell, I even got little bits of network reception in an elevator lmfao! Whatever man@the guy who said the network reception sucked.
Anyway, I think someone asked about the ringtone volume. Unless you have hearing problems, I believe this phone can be heard from 20 feet away even in noisy environments (television on, everyone speaking at the same time, etc).
However, do remember to adjust the volume for everything (music, speakerphone, ringtones, etc manually) by pressing one of the two camera zoom buttons (located on the right side of the cell), which are also used for volume control.
Hint: Volume adjustment for speakerphone alone does not adjust for ringtones, vice-versa
For the first few days, I thought to myself, "god dammit, does this cell offer no more sound than this? LMFAO!!!"... then accidentally, I pressed on the zoom keys (was too lazy to read the manual at the time) and figured how wrong I was (that this cell in fact offered high quality sound).
The most recent problem I had with this cell phone was with the 'master reset' key which in fact erases all the ringtones (that came with the cell) and everything you ever saved on the cell. So be careful. Useful tool if your phone slows down, virus attack, or takes forever to save, but always keep backup before resetting (something I forgot to do). This ain't a problem but can be a problem if you misuse it.
How is the loudness of the ringer on this K750i. It's been said in one review that it's too soft and often calls are missed because of it. What is your opinion on it.
Hi all! I got this phone (K750i) yesterday and so far the reception of this phone is suck big time! (Very dissapointed indeed!!) I have just switched from T-Mobile service to Cingular and so far, either Cingular's network is not as good as advertised or simply this phone suck! I have yet play around with the features but if the phone's reception (most important) doesn't work well, others are useless! By the way, I live in Los Angeles, CA.
Does anyone has similar issue like me??
hello k750i users, I am planning to buy this phone, I read in one of the posts that there is a new k750i released in which the flaws of the first production has been corrected. How will I know if the one I'm getting is the corrected one? Is there a production date or whatsoever visible on th ephone unit? thanks:)
Dammit typo... LOL. I meant 'did the automatic phone update' and NOT 'photo update'. I know ya'll figured that but had to correct it.
Charles, I found most of the answers to my problem at SonyEricsson.com. Trust me, they do respond, and also try to check out the manual they provide you with. There are lot of things we overlook or just look so close at the details that we miss the essential parts. Bro, just email them if you are still facing the same problems - they do respond (they did for me LOL)!
Mark Warner, you will not face the same 'plug-loose' Mp3 problem in the new k750i cause the stereo handsfree/headset they provide you with is different from normal headsets (it will seal tight to your k750i like the charger, which you can take out anytime).
Those of you having hang-up problems, I do too but much less than before (did the automatic photo update via cable from SonyEricsson.com).
There is a new Samsung (5 Megapixels) cell phone so you can check that out too before buying this k750i. Anyway, k750i still beats alot of the upcoming cell phones.
i've used my K750i for more than 1 week, and it hang twice till now, once is after i uploaded a few files to my phone thru USB cable, another is when i wanna call my friend thru the called list... anyone facing this problem?
The new version of K750i already corrected the hang problem with new software.
Can anyone tell me why my K750i suddenly hangged after use it for 1 week, it hangged after I switch ON the phone. I cant go into the main screen. It just hangged there. Please advise. thks
I don’t have a k750i, I have a k700i but in 28 days I can upgrade to this phone. I have read lot's of reviews about it, lots of things that were at fault with the k700i (little things) have been discussed about and solved in this newer model. One thing that has not been discussed as far as I can see is the problem with the mp3 player.
I use my k700i for mp3's (a lot) and for me the best upgrade on the k750i is the memory stick to allow me to load all my mp3's on there. The problem I have is when the phone is in my pocket and the headphone cable comes loose, the phone then starts playing the music out of the loud speakers (which is annoying and somewhat embarrassing while on a train or in the gym). Does the k750i have the option to turn of or silent the loud speaker?
