now stop complaining, this is da best fone in the world, i know cos i have it!!!
Alex: you can look at it from Phone Status (menu, settings, general, phone status)
freedom fighter: mp3 is great, although i'll definitely have to invest in a bigger memory stick. (anyone know where i can get one at a good price?)
Hey everyone... I want as much opinions as i can. Im using an i-mate and D500 at the moment and looking forward to getting the K750i. Do u guys thing that ill have problem with the phone in any way. ????
OK, just realised that you can install applications in a very similarway to symbian phones. So i downloaded the converter from sony wap site, so relieved and i'm quite happy knowing i can expand apps with loads of cool stuff from the web.
please please please
tell me every thing about mp3 in this phone
sound quality and every thing
Hey i know this seems pretty simple, but how can i find the memory status of my hanset and my memory stick? also is my network is O2 and it will not let me download the latest firm ware, is there anyway around this problem? thanks for any help! :)
There is a convertor to 3gp from all sorts of media formats available on the Nokia website. I've been using it since i got the phone over a month ago and it works perfect.
Went into O2 shop today, and to my suprise they had the new, 'bug free' phones in stock. Charged it up, and trying it out i've found no major problems. The sound is great and despite previous comments, i thought the volume was loud enough. The camera is sharp, grains are present but if u fiddle with the white balance settings and stuff, it can look brill. The video recorder is smooth with no delays unlike a lot of other phones. The buttons are a little clunky and loud, but the overall feel is solid. One thing i am going to miss is the units/currency converter i had on my nokia, which i used quite alot. Didn't bank on this phone not having it as i thought all phones had this feature as standard, why has SE missed this?
Pro's far outway the con's though, despite i'm now going to have to buy a seperate converter device for my work.
do this phone can record video more than one hour..? if any one can answer it with justification i'll appreciate that ..!
and is the data transfer speed is very slow..?
and is the video recording quality better than nokia 6681???
i m planning to purchase k750 ..! can anyone tell me how long the video recording can be .. and does it hangs while data transfer or the speed is quite solw comapred to nokia 6681..? so please tell me which one is best SE or nokia 6681
Hi! Si dude or anyone who are very familiar with sony ericsson, im from mexico and want to buy a k750, so if i buy one frm hong kong, is it still possible to get the software update from my own country, i mean, like, will i be able to get my phone in spanish with a software upgrade from the mexico service update page? I hope any of you can ask 100% sure. Thanx
the ccd senser now look's like as a rumour at first was picture's i had seen with some test shot's but i have heard now there aint going to be any ccd senser which i have read on other forum's it may still happen but dont look that way..
@Si dude: hey, do you work for SE lol! You seem to be the official representative for them here! How do you have the patience to answer the sme questions over and over again!! Cheers m8
O2 don't seem to know their rse from their lbow! London store on Oxford street said they had the phone, so phoned Victoria who also confirmed it. When I turned up at Victoria, all sales assistants swore blind that they didn't?! I eventually convinced them to check, and low and behold there were some.
I think the 4th July date is to allow for deliveries - I've certainly had no problems with mine so far (touch wood!).
to ell1976 - sounds like o2 have tried to screw you, theyve just bin sending sum out and hoping for the best that yours works. But coz theyve messed up they will make an effort to replace it if goes wrong.
Just received my replacement K750i from o2 following a fault with the first one. My concern is that they told me yesturday there new stock of fault free phones will not be in until the 4th July. Does this mean I have been screwed by o2 or has their stock come in early. It could always be the case that dont know what the left arm is doing to the right arm if you know what I mean.
Picked up phone yesterday from o2 shop in London - already had 50% battery, so have been using it constantly, transferring files with BT, using video, mp3 ringtones etc.
No problems whatsoever. Mp3 ringtones are very loud, battery seemed to last for ages (wanted to run it down so I could do a full charge!), no crashing lagging or anything dodgy so far.
Only negative comment is that my old Sharp GX30 does have a better screen.
Waited 2 months for the phone. Nothing but problems. Battery life is short, calls cut out. Apparantly there is a known fault and I have returned phone.
Not sure whether to wait for nokia 8800. Any comments
Just search for 3GP converter in Google or soemthing to find one!
The K750 has the best camera out along with the Nokia N90 which is the same but is jsut a little clearer as it has Carlz Zeises lenses but not much difference and it is a rubbish phone actualy I think now! Only beats this K750 over Symbian, 3G/UTMS, video call and Edge and a proper smart phone! Apart from that the K750 is a much better if you want it for listning to music in headphones as loudspeaker isn't so good, it is great and camera is the best! But I would get the W800 as it has same camera, same everything but comes with a 512MB memory card, wireless bluetooth headphones and has flight mode so you can view the gallery, take pictures and listen to music while the phone is off and can use it on the plane as it is off and doesn't effect the plane! As the K750 dosn't have flight mode, only comes with standard non wireless bluetooth headphones and only a 64MB memory card!
The phone in Novemeber to December will be upgraded to a 2GB compacity which i think all you would have to do is upgrade the firmware but will also feature a CCD sensor for much less noise for the camera as it has a CMOPS sensor but has a lot of noise in lwo light condidtions and not so clear images but hardly uses any battery life where as the CCD sensor will use a lot more and the CMOS sensor is smaller but you don't see that! But for picture quality the CCD sensor will be better but not as good battery life and will only be able to get a CCD sensor when they release the new K750 in November to Decmeber!
