hi, i got this phone 2 days ago, and the camera i must say is fantastic. however when i leave it on standyby for more than an hour ( like when asleep and its charging) it freezes and you have to take the battery out and put it in again to get it to turn on. ive given up and its going back tomorrow and im going to go back to my silver d500. the camera may not be as good but i feel it is easier to use and i like the design more. in theory a good phone, on practice, well time will tell but at the moment, a deffinate no for me.
i got it for 3 weeks now and no problems with it...
is it possible to turn the camera sound of?
let me know please...
Can anyone tell me how long u can take video clips for on this phone? Im looking for a phone that can video untill the memory card is full up, or at the very least 60 mins of video?
is it true that the max time for recording a video is only 1 minute?!?
Do we have the same firmware?
You can find it by pulling the joystick right, pressing *, left, left, *, left, *.
I think my version is R1A044, but I'm not sure (my first Sony Ericsson phone and maybe my last?)
I saw almost half ppl say this phone is good and the others say no good, got bugs, etc
For ppl whose phones got bugs, where did you buy it? where is the phone made in?
Don't forget my little help page out for this phone at: http://www.freewebs.com/sjtproductions/Sony%20Ericsson%20K750%20questions%20answered.htm
superb quality phone an as one off the best camreas i have seen on any mobile available now days i would tell anybody wanting a mobile to purchase this little beauty won"t let you down at all
I have found 17 bug/errors in the phone so far (after 4 days).. Don't say that this phone is error free...
From SonyEricsson's FAQ:
What is the maximum capacity of the Memory Stick Duo™ supported by the phone?
Maximum capacity of the Memory Stick Duo™ supported by the phone is 2 GB.
Got mine yesterday on Vodafone. Had a problem with it talking to my PC, seems ok now. I had to reboot the phone. Synch with outlook was seemless. It plays mp3 files borrowed off the internet, no copyright issues. Can't comment on battery, not bothered about camera, radio is good.
Great phone that i'll have for two weeks by now. No bugs/software problems. A big selling hit this k750i in Holland. Almost sold out in every store!
this fone is fantastic, theres only 1 problem. my k750i randomly turns itself off and then on again, a bit like restarting a computer. this has happened quite a few times, and this is when the battery level is perfect. can anybody help me?
ok from sonyericsson website K750 is only upgradable up to 1GB, from 3Gmobile.com it's up to 2gb and from people on here are saying both.. which one is it?
I bought SE 750i on the 27th, probably the second phone sold by the store. I was so keen buying it after reading about it in SE' website. Here are the things I noticed,
1. Frstly... the phone hung twice in two days.
2. The camera quality is not the best (Not to the standard of 2MP, also marginally better than some of the lower-end nokia phones)
3.You cannot listen to the Radio when charging, means if you have 100%charge in the phone you can listen to it for what like 2.5-3.5 hrs using the headset, (I don't know if it varies if a speaker is used)
4. The phone is really slower. Even slower when accessing any from the external memory stick.
5. I didn't find any birthday reminders for people whose names are not stored in the Phone book. I do not know yet how to do it, incase they have any of this available.
6. The buttons on the phone is smaller and sometimes difficult to use. The joystick is not the best compared to other phones, not responsive enough. (Do not know if its something to do with only my phone)
These are someof the things I found during my usage, I was using a Nokia 6610 for the past 2 years without any such problems. So I would suggest people to be a little careful if planning to buy this one unless SE comes up with a better version of the same.
The K750 is what the phone is caulled but the K750i means internation and k750c means chinease version! Don't get confused by Nokia's i bit as that means an upgraded and improved mobile one where on SE phones they just mean if it is internation or chinease version!
It's great! I reluctantly moved away from the SPV range since the SPV C550 is not avail 'til July. This 750i took my eye and boy, I am happy with it.
The camera is superb. For a camera phone the quality is excellent.
The look is good. It's a phone with style and yet is practical in design.
Battery life appears to be long even with extensive camera use.
Comes with USB cable included, a certain other manufacturer could learn from this!
Very light and a good size.
The keys are possibly a bit small/close for fat fingered folk.
Difficult to remove the SIM.
That's it so far!
Thanks for the reply... Well so far any major complaints to the sony ericsson k750i??
It seems that there are two models of this k750, namely k750 and k750i... is there actually any differences btween these two??
Woo got this phone today on orange. So far its really great (specially when compared to my last phone...ehem...3310). So far its been bug free(ish). Only trouble im having is recording video - either im not doing it right or theres a bug and i cant record video. if anyone can help there that would be great.
That aside - awesome phone!
