Hi guys...
I got a K750i and really like it but the problem is the joystick...It's no good at all now..I can barely use it.. I'd like to know if I can replace it by a W800i joystick which according to my friends is much more resistant...

Thats NORMAL ...
the Battery goes up when the Phone is in Standby Mode.
so say you listened to a songs for 3 hours or so..
the battery drained till about 65% thats normal.
when you leave the phone and when it goes into Standby Mode, the battery % will go up to 80% automatically..
so dont worry..

Dear Zeetbear:::I hope you remember me, because I will remember you since you helped me many times before.
Its been over 2.5 years since I bought K750, and its now giving me another insane problem for which i need to ask you the solution about.
I charged the phone for about 4 hours, it was on 100%, when I took the charger out from my phone, it immedietly went to 96%, and this happens about every time I charge.
If I take a photo or play even a 4 minute song, the battery drains to 75% :(
I recently bought a new battery, and the problem remains the same.
Please Advice,

Hi Dude ~ i am here again to help our K750i users:-)you don't worry ~ just try to discharged fully your new or old battery => then charge again_ if the problem still exists, then you can go to SE SERVICE CENTER *** takecare ***

Loved this phone ! I now have a K850i still use the K750i its just more comfortable. One of the most reliable phone i've ever had .. Still have great battery life even after 2 years of hard work!
not as high specked as the 850i .. but in my opion a much better layed out phone !

To all those who want to convert to w800i
CID_49 phones only!!
Download XS++
Download w800 firmware files from:
http://iprotebe.cz/firmware-w800-cid49-r1bd001-s11111113.html
Download both MAIN and FS Files.
After the file has been downloaded, turn off your phone, take out the battery, memory card and sim card.
Reinsert battery only.
Open XS++ and press connect.
Press and Hold C **Clear Key** and insert the cable provided.
When The details come out on the left hand screen side of XS++, it has been connected successfully, if not, try again from reinserting battery.
First unzip W800_R1BD001_MAIN_EU_1_CA_RED49.zip
open the unzipped file in: FlashMainFirmware.
Press Flash.
It will upload about 300 blocks.
Then unzip
W800_R1BD001_FS_EMEA_1_RED49.zip
Open the unzipped file in FlashFileSystem.
Press Flash.
It will again upload about 300 blocks.
Then Click on Customize File System, Select w800i, and select the EMEA-1 option.
Press Flash
Now your w800i is done, Enjoy Flightmode, Walkman, and if you want to add patches, do inform me, its procedure is with me aswell.

Follow all the steps very very carefully, do not miss out any OK, otherwise you'll get in real trouble.

& K750i does not have to have a virus scanner that enables the operating system to log and everything else becomes slow..
whoever you are, think again!

Anonymous, 28 May 2008the joy stick messes up and it turns off by itselfThis phone is very good. I have it from 2 years(Orange) i made few soft modification. Working better then i bought it .I dont have any complains about it.

The K750i is undoubtly the Best Sony Ericsson there has ever been!
This Phone got me into Sony Ericsson, and i dont regret
i came from a Nokia 6230i and 6233
to a K750i and was SHOCKED to see how better it is then those Boring Nokia's LOL
K750i was just the Best and still is nearly 5 Years on...id say its the Perfect Phone
Camera was the Best and still is.
MP3 Playback was Mind Blowing, Next Level !!!!
