no complains for the ohone as yet i have been using it for almost a week now an pretty happy with it, great camera, auto focus really helpful, good display and nice sound quality. and very happy with it, its good value for money!
i want to know which one is better k770 or k810 (in general) and which one has a better soun quality???.
Doc, here we go
In the United States, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted limits for safe exposure to RF energy produced by mobile devices and requires that phones sold in the U.S. have a SAR level at or below 1.6 watts per kilogram (W/kg) taken over a volume of 1 gram of tissue. In the EU the corresponding limit is 2 W/kg, averaged over ten grams of tissue.
Doc, study more from here.
The best pic mode in K800i is now called Burst mode in K770i, it takes 4 pictures in VGA quality and saves all pictures, can you select the pictures later
I am having problem with the camera, doesn't matter what shoot mode or screen mode I use, the camera doesn't zoom!! It says "zoom not possible in this mode"!!?? Is it something lacking? But I can zoom during video mode..
Concerning health? Something has happen? If this is a healthy problem for someone, I would like to say someone has lost focus and sense of real life matters.
To whom it may concern:
According to TCO, 0,8 W/kg is acceptable.
Just type the model you're interested in (e.g. k800i sar, 7500 prism sar, d900i sar...) and Google will do the rest for you.
Simple as that.
Hey Doc, thanks for your input. How can I check SAR before I buy any phone?
yay, I agree with the Dr. as said, health is an issue that most ppl dont look into. ITS friggin 1.69!!!! My limit for a phone is basically 1.1w/kg at most. high SAR rate can fry ur brain and causes 3 times more chances of getting brain tumour. yup, dont think i'm bullshiting here, but its true. think bout it. SE, you created suicide phones these while.
1. The US SAR limit is 1,6 W/kg;
2. K800i radiates 0,58 W/kg, in comparison with K770i's 1,69 W/kg;
3. It is almost 3x higher radiation than of K800i, still within the "limits", but... 3x higher is always 3x higher;
4. Do you want to (a) take that (potential) risk, or (b) you are just being smart with Googled SAR infos?
5. If (a), please be my guest and fry yourself.
6. And for the next time, just be polite enough, show some manners and introduce yourself before posting.
Cheers & watch your health!
What's the point on those SAR comments?
SAR – European Union (RTTE) and international (ICNIRP)
INFORMATION ON RF EXPOSURE / SPECIFIC ABSORPTION RATE (SAR)
The guidelines use a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or
SAR. The SAR limit for mobile devices is 2 W/kg and was adopted into the European
Standard EN 50360 and into other national standards. The CE mark demonstrates that
the EU requirements are met.
I've had one of these phones for thw past 3 weeks and am really pleased with it. Ericsson have had a few problem with the programing. It kept freezing so it's off for repairs... I miss it!!!!
