nice job p_doz; since when k800i makes better video than n73? k800i-176*144 in 3gp format;n73-352*288 in mp4 format.stop copying stuff from the review.the camera cover isn't loose (i've got mine for 2 months and it's nowhere near loose),the k800i doesn't have wi-fi(so don't comment on this :P).also better a slippery joystick than one that breaks all the time(a friend of mine went with his k790i at service 3 times in 2 months to fix his joystick).the n73 has a "perfect browser" (if you actually read the whole review you would know this)-the k790i has the same browser as the k800i and IT SUCKS.keypad is precise and though it's looking cheap i can use it smoothly and with no mistakes(i'm 18 so i don't have thick fingers).so what if the alarm clock isn't repeated?i don't use it anyway(have you heard of the invention called alarm clock?)and you can fix by installing third party application.stop copying stuff and taking it for good;and i suggest you test the n73 first before posting stupid comments.also it's much faster than that joke of se k800i(in java apps etc - as it has a 220 mhz processor). i admit the k800i takes better pics but in the rest it's nothing compared with the n73.

hi,
i am planning to go for a contract. i am a pure SE fan but right now i am confused between K800 and W810.
W810 has a walkman which can work when phone is switched off and downside is it has only got 2MP cam. I already have a K750 and i am using its camera and mp3 player to the max. I have a 2GB stick and HPM-82 for music. So, I want both cam and mp3 player to be good.

K800 has 3.2MP cam and QCIF video as well. but downside is that you cannot listen to songs when its switched off. Another downside is that it needs M2 which is expensive.

If anyone can shed some light on these things, e.g. which mp3 player is better in sound quality etc etc, and help me which 1 to buy, i would be grateful.
Cheers.

ihave k800i,upg from k750i, imust say i was disappointed. all se has done is put k750i in bigger case and given it a slightly better camera. the photos arent even that much better if u just printing em off computer n they only look better on handset cos of bigger screen. no am not impressed if i had known wot it would be like i would definately have got a k610i.

I suggest everybody choose K800 than N73... Camera,sound,video are perfect with K800i.. u will not regret to get it one...

Main Disadvantages of N73:

* Loose camera cover
* Uncomfortable and cheap-looking
numeric keypad
* No memory card included
* Slippery joystick
* No Wi-Fi
* Web browser does not work in landscape
mode
* Alarm clock is not repeated

To rose,
K800 is a brilliant phone, no comparison between the hanging problems of N73 with the gr888 K800..the only thing it lacks is d carl zeiss optics...havin a gr88 talk time of 7 hrs, 3.2MP camera...nd a excellent music phone...

Having had Nokia phones for the past nine years it was always going to be difficult to switch to something else but once I saw this one and had a look at the features I was very impressed. I wanted something that looked good, was comfortable to use and that was, most importantly, user friendly, as all my nokias had been. I had tried samsungs (which do look amazing) and others but founf nokias to be the safe option!

this phone, with its 3.2. megapixel camera and its 2click blogging feature is reaaly really cool if your into blogging. I kind of forced myself to use it but it is brillaint. Also the quality of the games now are on a level with a gameboy advance/sp. Some games are 3d and the graphics are better than the old dreamcast that was out a few years ago!

Oh, it never crashes like some phones. I tried the motorola e1000 which had a whole lot of features, but it seemed to need to reboot every five mins. which leads my thoughts onto the battery life of this phone. amazing battery life. i was messing around on the internet for over an hour yesterday, on ebay etc and then left it overnight...battery is still at 70% (I havent charged it in a couple of days).

of course it depends if youre a heavy business user, but I've used the phone for about 6 or 7 hours in one day, calling various relatives, friends etc and found the battery life to be around 34%.

I could keep going but I've said loads already! the phones been out for a while now but it'll be popular for a long time until they update it for something even faster and smoother, which'll be difficult.

oh yeah I've seen someone get annoyed over the little joystick. Yes. Its annoying. It'd be better as maybe a joypad but then maybe some of the style would be lost? I dont know. Looks wise its perfect, especially the 'velvet black' casing. velvet black?! I've never felt a phone so sublime!

This prob isn't useful to anyone but i've enjoyed writing about this high quality product. Thanks!

@appy

opt for the k800i. the n73 really sucks i had mine for 3 months and after getting updates the phone is still crappy.

my friend has this phone he found some bugs but when he updated it the phone worked faster and all the bugs are gone.

i suggest you dont look for the quantity of features but the quality of the features.

with k800i you wont go wrong.

no it doesn't get loose, it comes open in your pocket occasionally but doesn't become loose over time.
