Actually this mobile is incredible, and it has all features: 3G (For Video calls and higher bit rates for internet and GPRS), powerful camera (3.2 MP).
Just I am facing a problem with the speaker. Sometimes the voice is not clear.. It is it a major problem ?? somebody faced that before?
Guys, your help is really appreciated to tell me about this problem
Greetings from sunny Bulgaria! :)
It's the best phone I've ever seen, folks! I love it! :)
its possible that the k800 already has cif video quality in it and all it needs is the firmware to activate it, but sony most definitely wont allow it so they can keep that feature for the other series' (probably p900+). its all marketing. the k800 cant be a perfect phone
Sorry for the stupid question but could anyone tell me whether it's possible with a firmware upgrade in future to reach CIF video recording on K800?
Anyone else got one on Orange? I have one and dont have the photo blog or update service features on the phone. Is this an Orange thing or do I have a dodgy one??
I've had this phone since Monday. And its fantastic !
It runs smoothly and has a great interface, as all SE's do. Im now looking for a decent price on a 1gb M2 card, think the cheapest I have seen it is £40.
Does anyone have any decent software they think I should get hold of ? Are there any pieces that you always pack straight onto your phone ?
ayone here knows if i can use its 3g to surf the web? any help would be appreciated. tnx
ei guys, i need your inputs, esp those who own k800 already... i know that it offers BEST picture & sound quality coz it's a SE phone, but my only concern is the MESSAGE CAPACITY - i once had k750i & it sucks when it comes to message capacity bec it can only save 150msgs, so i switched to n70 - only for the reason that nokia symbian phones can save up hundreds of msgs bec u can switch the msg settings to save all your messages to MEMORY CARD. SE phones wont even allow u to change the msg settings & maximize the msg capacity by using its memory stick... so does k800 offer the same thing in terms of message capacity? guys, i would really appreciate any inputs on this one... thanks! super! in advance! ;)
I know i just got it but there are some techincAl problem, going to sell my 800 and get a n80.
good point on using the photo of white paper as a source of light.
and who's complaining about no light anyway? would you rather have an actual light or the xenon flash?
it doesn't have a sunglasses holder either but im not complaining.
Actually I was expecting k800 to be at P24K here in the philippines instead of P26K when I saw it on rob place.
I don't have the money yet, so instead
I bought w810 which costs P17K at a seperate xenon flash mx-60 from sony ericsson center, costing about P1K and now I have a walkman phone with xenon flash...
hehehehe... works the same only it doesn't have best pic and the resolution is a step back to 3.2 mp.
Does the joystick on it work smoothly? Because i remember the k750's joystick wasn't that good.
Just got k800i on 3g, you can't get the wap & mms setting yet! v-dissapointing. Also it comes without the memory stick, what's the point of that?? The K750 had em' Why sell a camera without memory? money grabbing gets!!!!!!!!!!
Im on the uk o2 network with this phone and find the signal quality to be very good. Friends on landlines have actually commented on how clear it sounds. I dont know if this is Psychological or not as they know i have a new phone.
just come from n80 forum & it has no torch application but this is one answer is to take a photo of a piece of white paper with flash on & use screen as a light,,,,its good enuf for getting keys in locks & lighting up small areas but thats best answer so far
Hi there! I m planning to buy this phone but the only problem that i have to ask myself that is the signal of this phone. Can anyone tell me how is the signal ? Thanks to all
Had this phone for a week now and i am very pleased with it.Compared with my previous k750 its only slighly taller and a bit thicker. Build quality is superior and the back is finihed with a nice rubberised feel. The buttons and joystick have stronger + longer lasting feeling to them. The camera with its xenon flash is just simply brillint compared with the k750 which was already not bad.(for a phone anyway)The screen is obviously larger a lot easier to read in general use especially with text messages.
The new calendar is also far easier to use now for adding notes etc.
Only noticed a couple of problems with it so far. Unless i just cant find it where did the torch go to which i thought was very handy on the k750. I know the the new flash now makes it redundant but surely they could have a squeezed an led in beside it.
Every time i switch the phone i have to set the joystick shortcuts. please does someone have a solution for this.
hey can i ask if this phone has what type of sensor? CCD or CMOS? it really does matter to me. CCD sensors really take brilliant photos
