well.. thanks for telling me that Lami. Well, actually i didn't go and search about PDA things, that is just based on my personal opinion, because so far what i've seen normally is that smarphone using Symbian OS with watever version they have and i dun see any smartphone that using Windows media OS.. so.. if i got it wrong.. hehe... sowy... Probably you can check it out just from looking at specs though (or maybe you can go and check what does symbian means, instead of looking for what PDA means, probably that might help)--->i know one website that tells about symbian http://www.symbian.com/technology/symbos-v91-det.html (i haven't read the whole chapter, too complicated for me, so could you please help me to check it out?)
id like to add my opinion into the smartphone/pda discussion.
it was my impression that both are defined by size and function.
operating system does not make a difference.
a pda generally entails a touch screen, with a fairly sophisticated OS. originally, pda's never had voip/call abilities, however as technology has moved forward, it is seen more and more often.
a pda was designed to be a PDA first, and was given a secondary cellular function. a smartphone however, evolved the opposite way. it was designed as a phone first, with pda capabilities.
the disticntion between these to are becoming increasingly vague simply because pda's and phones are on an inevitable crash course. either pda's will be wiped out, or they will be fully merged. something which we are seeing today. the pda market was on a massive decline (seen by sony leaving the discontinuing the clie line), however, recent trends are moving in favor of the pda once again (who knows for how long).
i would have difficulty categorizing the n80 as a smartphone due to the small screen, and the lack of a touch screen.

I hope the build quality is not as slugish as k750i, crack noise after a month od delicate use.
i dont like the lens cover... its thick and make the phone looks weird from the side. hmn..
I hoped the k800 to be with Dual loudspeakers like Alcatel s853, but seems not:(((( And also hoped for good video, but also seems not - only 220x176.
I really hoped but now i sorry.
its 15kps ..
and ..it isnt gonna be SO expensive..its a HIGH end model so dont expect the price to be low either..
review says its around 350-400 euros ..
there you go =)..
and it is true about the video pullback..i guess..nothing is perfect =)
Can anyone tell me at what speed K800 shoots ? Is it 15 fps or 30 fps ?
I'm not backing off from thanking you for your insight, i actually ment to send you an email to tell you what i wanted to, but apparently my email client is busted so i can't lol.
It's simple really, i just did a web search for "define:PDA" and "what is PDA" on google, and not one site i found stated that PDA falls under Windows OS or RAM. Not that i wanna bash you at all, actually i am interested to know further that's why. So if you can send me more info on where PDA is defined under WIndows OS and RAM and not just being a norm please send me a link to my EMAIL!
I don't wanna go off topic with you here over something irrelevant to the K800, and i surely don't wanna flood the forum here either with it.
anyone have any information if the K800 has "voice memo" and "built-in hands free"?Its not mentioned here. thanx
