nick, 08 Nov 2008by doing that, arent you undermining nokia and their games?
it is the same principal regard... moreLol ye, but they are overcharging for those games.
Ye LP640 is nice, im not realy a fan of Supercars. Why buy a Lambo when i can buy an M3 mod it up and then squish a Lambo lol, that would be even more fun.
Tsepz, 08 Nov 2008Yes owning a smartphone is great, i still use my N81 to watch movies, play YouTube vids, watch... moreby doing that, arent you undermining nokia and their games?
it is the same principal regarding downloading illegal music.
BTW, one of my favourite applications is symtorrent, thats so useful!!!
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970The '86 BMW 333i and the current BMW twin turbo charged 335i and the new V8 5-door M3, im actualy soon going to be the proud owner of a Mini Cooper-S which offcourse is made by BMW :-D lol!
Go to the link i posted earlier.
nick, 07 Nov 2008but running full blown applications actually designed for a specific platform is always better... moreYes owning a smartphone is great, i still use my N81 to watch movies, play YouTube vids, watch my SouthPark episodes lol, and use it as my 3G modem but at the end of the day my K850 can do most of the things a symbian smartphone can do. There a lot of SE specific Java apps, like KD Player which is useful in SEs since both A100 and A200 can multitask, and since A200 modding has started soon we're going to get .elf apps to add features to our A200 phones like K850, C902, W902 etc. . . Lol ive got loads of friends, they know ive got a fasination for mobile devices and cars like they do for football or rugby, and its not like you're with your friends all day lol. Like Ice Cube says, do ya thang f*** what they lookin at. Lol
Lol exactly. Every platform needs to be hacked, i also hacked Ngage get free games, install unsigned apps etc. . .we jus cant rely on manufacturers, Nokia are actualy trying to block the hacking, the latest N82, E90, 5320xm, N95-NAM, and 6120c firmwares dont allow hacking. Modding is important, thats why my K850 is now my main phone, it does exactly what i want it to do the way i want it done cause ive modded it. I now understand why the Moto users like their Old V360s, L7s, E2s, E6s etc. . . so much lol.
nick, 07 Nov 2008but running full blown applications actually designed for a specific platform is always better... moreYeah but still as Tsepz said.
The Gap between Symbian and SE's Java is narrow now.
Tsepz, 07 Nov 2008Dani
Smartphones make for great mini computers when you're on the go but ever since SE brough... moreYeah but 'Modding' with SE's Java is extremely customisable.
Its just as good if not Better then Symbian.
Dani, 07 Nov 2008To be honest with you, i dont see the point in Smartphones.but running full blown applications actually designed for a specific platform is always better than running a cross-phone java app.
also the ability to install things without having to hack the platform is an added bonus...
i just think owning a smartphone is more fun tbh. whats more is that the software is out there.
and yes tpsez, network branded firmware is horrible and pointless and should be made a crime! how easy is it to unbrand windows mobile devices btw?
also, i observed in the fotos that there is no return button as there is in the w810. so is it possible to play music on this while working on other applications? also how well does the flash work at night?
how good a fone is this to buy today compared to the c902? does it have any os or any other software problems... i lack technical knowledge about all the electronics of this, so can u pls explain in a simple manner?
Smartphones make for great mini computers when you're on the go but ever since SE brought A200, LG brought their Touch Java OS in the Viewty so did Samsung with the Tocco and F700 the gap between smartphone and "dumbphone" aka java phone has become extremely narrow.
Anonymous, 07 Nov 2008YA! I bought mine last year december, It practically spoil every single day! I sent it for rep... moreWell, I thought the same about my SE K700i, and I was disapointed by the joystick, the weak battery and the charger connectors. I was convinced I'd never buy a SE again, being sure of the lack of quality. Today, I think it's a matter of luck...
nick, 06 Nov 2008thats all very well, but you're hacking your phone to bring it up to a standard level. sounds ... moreYou see now you're trying to make me go against Nokia, fine. No for my K850 to be brought to good working order i simply got it debranded of Vodas terrible fw then updated to latest Generic SE fw and its excellent now the modding was just to set my K850 to suit ME perfectly. Now lets not forget that NOKIA S60v3 phones have to be hacked with Helocarbide to get the best out of them. The N82 had a very dull screen and had to be hacked to brighten it up. To download rar files on a s60v3 and 3.1 phone you had to get a 3rd party web browser, to get wmv on S60v3 and 3.1 Nokias you have to hack them etc. . . .every platform has its limits and needs hacking by its users: WM, Symbian even Linux. Nick you're smart i thought you'd know all this.
Girish pai, 07 Nov 2008Trust me dont go for any sony ericsson products. You will later repent your decision like me.YA! I bought mine last year december, It practically spoil every single day! I sent it for repair for three times and it spoils again. I'll have to send it for repair for the fourth time. At first, I thought that I've gotten the best phone on earth, but this phone totally disappoints me. Im not confident in getting another sony ericsson phone now
nick, 06 Nov 2008thats all very well, but you're hacking your phone to bring it up to a standard level. sounds ... moreit just means that k850i is more versatile than your n95 symbian.. you can't do anything with your n95. now that there are a lot of camera drivers we can choose depending on our taste, this is surely a better 5mp cam phone. :)
in the first place, we want our phone to be personalized right?! this is way better than depending on symbian 3rd party apps. this is what makes se phones more exciting and worth keeping.
possibilities are endless. :)
