Riad, 23 Oct 2008Can anyone say to me how i get Relief .When I go to my message option it show operation failed... moreThis happened to me many times. This is because this phone cannot actually store messages of more than 50 messages. You just have to master reset the phone. This problem will persist though and after that some of its parts will no longer function..Just like what happened to my k850.
It is the worst phone that i 've ever used. DONOT BUY IT. Its like throwing ur money down the sewage line
I've been busy thinking which one better
- Nokia 5320
- SE K850
I like all features on 5320(symbianOS,data,memory,etc)
But it only have 2mp cam.
At first I want k850..but now I'm confused..
or any suggestion?other cell?

nick, 28 Oct 2008yes i do recharge my phone every night, i cant say it is a huge inconvenience really because i... moreYeah but clearly the whole point of a PHONE is the Battery Life, i would hate charging my phone every night.
i soppose if the phone is just used as a phone the battery life will Increase alot.
and HTC Touch HD might be my next phone
johndru, 27 Oct 2008Sony Ericsson have done it several times with their symbian phones like P1i. battery life is n... moreyes i do recharge my phone every night, i cant say it is a huge inconvenience really because i suspect even if i had a sony ericsson id charge it every night too.
the battery isnt that bad. it used to be but the new firmware updates have rendered it alot more energy efficient. Battery could potentially last 2 days but id rather it not run out on me.
nokias are miles ahead, although my next phone will be the HTC touch HD
does this have better music than n96???????
which is the best 5 mp music set
raymark, 27 Oct 2008does this phone's 3 sensitive pads malfunction? they're very sensative, and you can accedently press a button twice if its acting laggy.
i work in o2 returns, and this phone is by far the most faultiest phone o2 do, in fact they withdrew the handset way before they should. i can say that 1 out of every 2 customers calls about this gash phone. there are none in refurbished stock as they are 9/10 unrepairable, now were getting more and more calls about the c902, maybe sony ericsson should ditch touchscreen handsets. i would not recomment ANYONE to buy this phone, unless you want to be repairing it every few months. peace
hey guys...if you're buying a phone, it's basically for phone use...everything else is bonus...say if you want nice pics buy a cam...if you want to play buy an xbox...buy a player for music...so, this is a phone with some bonus, respect the engineer's for what they purposed it for.
nick, 27 Oct 2008stop using the nokia/battery excuse.
technology in phones has evolved faster than the batte... moreSony Ericsson have done it several times with their symbian phones like P1i. battery life is not like n95 which is HORRIBLE.
also, you have a lot of features on your phone but couldn't stand up even for a day. i think that is more USELESS than having a very decent battery life which could last 2-4 days with features powerful enough.
battery life is MORE IMPORTANT than features. you may have a symbian phone but with battery so horrible, you would want to sell that n95 wont you nick? :)
stop using the nokia/battery excuse.
technology in phones has evolved faster than the battery technology that goes with them.
you can either put loads of features in and expect a weaker battery, or build an outdated phone with just one modern feature (that being the 5mpx cam on this) and then rave about the battery...
the N82 has more to deal with and the proccessor is a lot quicker in it so it will take up more battery wont it! Id love to see sony ericsson build a feature filled phone as full as the n82 and then put in a long life battery because it hasnt happened yet!
K1 is the answer to its peculiar design,it has become bad reputed and will stay. Updated firmware now is bit stable, but its handling half touch functions are always irritating. Old story now no more updates use it to maxx.Thickness and absence of wlan is main shotfall which can never be incorporated.1 year of exhaustive painfull use has digrutled me from thinking Se again. One last thought Se with Symbian OS best solution for revival only way out.
i dont like this phone, keyboard is not for sms typing
but other thing is good :) i give 6/10
NOW IT IS THE TIME for everyone to CUT THE CRAP on how bad this phone is etc...
I have both a N82 and K850i, and camera-wise in daylight it's almost the same (n82 slightly better), and in low light the difference is bigger but the k850 is still for from crap.
Now I wont go in to detail on specs etc yes we all know the n82 has so many features ur dead before u even know all of them bla bla NOW TELL ME WHATS THE FRIGGIN USE OF ALL THOSE FEATURES WITHOUT A PROPER BATTERY LIFE ?!?! The battery life is absolutely disgusting... 1 day maximum relatively heavy use, and when u do nothing at all with the phone, its empty within one week at its best this is totally pathetic nokia. IM NOT BUYING NOKIA ANYMORE 1st TIME LAST TIME k850 wins sod the fact that it's slow the n82 isn't what u call fast and i've got sandsisk ultra in the damn thing too..
i think this phone is really good the 5 meg pixel camera the only prob i have with it was it kept restarting it self...
i work for o2 customer care and i resolved this problem by going to sonyericsson.com and under support, your handset will need a software update if it restarts its self
