java ms word soft :-
ladies and gentlemen, i think i ought to give a word of fairness here with regards to the N82 and K850 word battle here...
The arguments have always been around the battery life features and camera features, ESPECIALLY with a crazy SE fan keeping on blabbering at the same point again and again and all over again... makes me wonder if he is a human at all (maybe he's a bot)
so here are my comments (i hope i am fair in my comments)
1. I believe the batt life argument is NOT NECESSARY AT ALL. Yes, Nokia has lower battery life than SE phones and we all have EYES to SEE that. Before you peeps start smiling or laughing, I'll have to say that both Nokia and SE knows it too. But why did Nokia AND SE not do anything about them? simple! to attract different customers. Nokia's low batt life comes at a cost of better screen resolution. SE chose to boost batt life by providing a lower resolution to attract customers who love to stay off the charger as long as possible but Nokia chose to satisfy resolution lovers who dun mind using the charger more often. One thing i wanna say is that with more $$$, i can buy more batteries to swop when batt runs out, but i can't improve features of a phone no matter the amount of $$$ i put in.
2. I also believe the camera feature argument is NOT NECESSARY. Come on guys, we're talking about a mobile phone. having a simple camera (2MP) is already a steal, not to say 5MP. if you really need quality photos or videos, it's not a smart move to grab a phone for a camera.
3. Nowadays, when we say a phone is GOOD or BAD, it's not about a single factor or even 3-5 factors. it's about the overall feel and functions and features, which easily comprises of at least 10 over factors. one factor i like to stress which have a significant weightage is FUTURE POTENTIAL. and i believe that's what S60 is all about.
regards to all
This is the best camera phone on the market as of now. The user interface is very responsive and fast unlike symbians which though have hundreds of useless softwares available but are so slow that you tend to forget what you were about to do. Good solid build with great features. Don't go for negative reviews, this is really good piece of mobile technology!!!
k850i is quality. best camera phone available. sturdy and reliable as always.
nokias are expensive but feel cheap. slow and they crash. poor battery also. even the n95 feels like a toy phone that id jus love to break. i sell phones all day and will always have a SE. we get so many returns for all nokia hsets compared to Se so thats my opinion;)
Why don't Japan cell their high end sony ericsson phones in other countries? For sure it will rule all other brands..
To Nokia fans,
Get out from this page. This is Sony Ericsson page not Nokia's. Also, it isn't page for arguing between SE & Nokia. If you have any opinion about Nokia, post it in Nokia pages not SE.
Overall, both Nokia & SE are good and there is no difference between them.
What the ****!?!?!?
Didn't know Sony Ericsson Japan has more advanced technologies than the Europe!?
Can't believe to see this unit,,,
I love both listening to music and taking pictures, and I want to buy the first SE phone. I am confused between k850 and w910.
Which one is better?
he he he.....Nokia people have allways been jealous of SE, and will allways be...........SE is the king of design, camera features & music.
END OF STORY
PS....k850 HAVE STILL THE BEST ALLROUND CAMERA OF ALL 5 m.p. PHONES...IT PRODUCE BEST, NATURAL COLORS.........
i LoVe K850
Would you stop your comments, here we need constructive comments on this model! Not a site for kids who likes to bad mouth ones products.
Is all phone manufacturers coming out with a so called all in one model ? If there are any it will surely go bust.... Just get on with life and should you need to comment on Nokia, do it at THE NOKIA SITE.
n82 winner by wide margin
yes for now its bye bye k850. SE fans wait again for six months and see if SE could catch up.
well i forgot
battery life- i did lots of stuff in it like of course checking the applications, played music, check the camera, and it did even got low batt..i guess this phone can last at least two weeks if i didnt touch this phone or maybe five to six days if i use it..good job S.E.
hey i got this phone last friday and my overall result:
camera- nseries win in this one..super dark wen i took a pic in our basement
media speaker- only 80% of nokia n95 volume(i got nokia n95 too so i know this)
design- i like it.. three soft keys doesnt bother me at all
playing a video- hmm its so shitty..i playin some music vid, song is faster than the vid.
wat else..i guess thats it but for me..this phone is ok its fine, just for looks i guess haha out of 10?? ill give it a 7..
k850i is a different phone from N-series... if i want a camera phone,of curse i will buy this phone not N95 or N82... why i should have a symbian phone that's really2 slow and very like to hang likes N95???? i just want a simple phone with good shape , good camera , good performance and of course cheapper than N95,N82 or any N-series...
n95 8gb battery last for 2 days in a heavy use. i know coz i have one.
Flippin people saying N82 better n n95 better. or sum oda nseries Nokia. Well think again coz the Nseries have 1 main disadvantage WEAK! battery life. The battery doesnt last 1 day.
Also NSeries Symbian OS is too buggy n runs out of memory or will crash. U want a Symbian Operating System get P1i n ull see da difference. U can open so many applications on the P1i withouth crashing or saying out of memory like nseries do!
Nokia are the biggest Market hype with N82, N95 8Gb, N81 .
Your ratings for things that the N82 are better on are just too bias. The screen holds no difference between the 16M and 256k colors, and just because the screen is bigger doesn't always make it anymore better. If you think about the design of the N82, does it do anything to any effect to hide the thickness of the phone? Not at all! The N82 and K850 both viewed on first impression are very different. The K850 looks slimmer while the N82 looks thicker. Why would you want thicker?
Actually, the stats of this phone got higher. The stats of the N82 got lower.
If you are looking just for a good phone alone, and don't care much about features, the W910 will serve you well. But if you're really into pictures, and wouldn't mind the small/large effect of the size and design of this phone, then get the K850.
Oh wow, it's you again with your stupid monkey crap. I'd like to see you actually buy your own phones without your mother's funeral savings.
Actually, the K850 is right on the same level as the N95, minus the slower WiFi, the better video recording resolution and GPS. That's all.
By the way, no one needs to learn how to use Symbian. It should be user-friendly, and because it's not, it freezes because people try to stop their mistakes as soon as possible but Symbian cannot keep up with it. Give an old person a phone, see which one they'll live with by the looks, then see which one they'll live with after they use it. It's very simple really. Also, N95 just seems in the way of everything.
Other day I went to Red's Bistro, one of Toronto's top 10 restaurants, and someone had put their N95 on the table. The server came up to the table and took one look at it and asked "Please take your tools off the table." and later he apologized to the man, his excuse; "Sorry, I though it was a brick."
Wondering what would be the server's reaction when he came to my table, I put my K850 on the side plate so it stood out and he complimented me on how my camera looked really sleek. Both phones were faced down.
There you have it, Canadian responses for you.
But the 4800 made the W900 the size it is today... T_T
WOW YOU ACTUALLY DIDN'T TRIPLE POST THAT TIME!
Is it branded? I've never even seen an option like that, to hang up after 30 minutes. And the keep on restarting, then you must've gotten a virus for it or something. Appearently here in Canada, there is some kind of cellphone bug going around.
BUT IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT any of the video resolution advantage from Nokia's ugly phones, then get a Sony Ericsson. It's the faster, bug-less and freeze-less solution to an entertainment device. Video caling, voice calling, music playback, camera, picture viewer/slideshow, video playback, java games, organizer, alarm clock, 3.5G dedicated connection.
