Ive seen some threat providing a link of a new SE phone..its SE K890i/900i..is it true that there will be such phone in d nearest future? Coz if there is no such phone..i might opt this one rather than waiting for a neverproduced phone..
I just bought a k850i which im happy about. The k850i supports mp4 but when I add movies in that format the quality is awesome but it actually laggs. The 3gpp isent as good but it works. Any tips you can give me so I can use mp4 flawless?
Cheers!
phone is cool ,buy this phone its cool and very smart phone go and get it
i would like to ask the people who said this phone is thick, how come ?its thinner than k800,so how can it be called thick?also which version blue&silver or green&black looks better in reality?
i tried my friend's k850, it was very cool. the camera was awesome. the video prob better than any SE. the coolest thing might be the motion sensor. some how, the keypad pretty uncomfortable and maybe it takes time to get used to. softkeys are pretty cool, but it's hard to touch it when you're outside (with direct sunlight)
4 stars :D

European climate is famous for being very moist, and maybe that moisture has began it's effect. But here, nothing's wrong with my K850 except for the plastic casing that I got free with it from the store scratched a bit of the surface near the # key.
You can indeed make a picture with a single hand, but the form factor of this phone does usually require two hands for a perfect picture.
I'm sorry to hear about the Parkinson's, but I do see where you're coming from, and in general, I have to say that this phone is just something to get used to. It's user-friendly at first, but when you try to get used to it, most things that you know about using a cellphone effortlessly go out the window. It's just a completely different phone.
And yes, I did say that camera phones are camera phones, multimedia phones are multimedia phones, and Walkman phones are Walkman phones. This phone still keeps to prove me wrong as the quality of the phone goes higher in multimedia, camera and Walkman class then my W810. But that is an old standard, for cellphones in general, so I've yet to get outside with many other cellphones to truly say that this phone is really only a camera phone. The multimedia aspect of this phone though is wonderful, and does not live to disappoint. Versus other solutions for multimedia, sure this phone will have many drawbacks, but as a video calling phone with a wonderful camera and Walkman 3.0-esque media player, this phone serves it's purpose as a one shot, all in one device.

@Algenon
You said k850 supports 8GB MicroSD??
aren't you talking about "MicroSDHC"??
there's no such 8GB MicroSD, but instead
MicroSDHC. If its MicroSDHC you're using,
I'm glad it works :)

It seems that you fell in love with this phone merely...coz your rejection to see that
this time SE novelties like sensors and frame-like navikey are mostly widgets for newbies. This is not about mind-visualization,bad coordination or my Parkinson's disorder :)) this is about lack of tactile respond on few buttons which requires additional visual control when you driving or ...forget it.
What about light-sensor misplacement and inadequate flash result? Couldn't they just keep it same with K810? Now you need two hands to make a shot.
I just wish you warm winter in Canada since lens closure mechanism is very delicate and temperature dependent. At least mine K850 waiting replacement in SE service inspite of moderate european climate.
This not a prudent choice to take a Cyber-shot as music player.Didnt YOU say that?
Hey everyone.
Just to let you know that I am using an 8GB MicroSD in my K850 and it works great.
This said, I found that my PC and my Laptop couldn't detect the card in the phone when using the USB transfer cable. As a result, I took the card out of the phone and used a card reader/writer to put music on it...a minor inconvenience considering the results.
I currently have 64 (count 'em!) CDs worth of music on the phone and still approx 4.5GB free!
It's true to say that the music takes a little while to load when you first switch the phone on, but this is perfectly normal from what I understand.
Next stop, MOVIES! I'll keep you posted.
On a final note, don't make the utterly stupid mistake that I did of not realising that the MicroSD cards are inserted into the card slot the opposite way up to the M2s (doh!).
I love this phone more than ever and hope this is of use.
Good Cell Good resolution on photos. jeg
Does someone tested the media programmer PRO
because i wanted to know if it can put all videos in mp4. can somebody help ?

please someone helpp!!
This is a useful thing. Thanks a millions to Google. Though in Beta stage it's not pinpointed like Good SONY GPS devices but at least when you are travelling via bus or Train then say at midnight while you get up from your birth then you can get some info about your current location. It's cool. The other way to get info is to use Cell Information feature in your phone. For Sony Ericsson phones, go to MESSAGING->SETTINGS->AREA INFO->CELL INFORMATION->ON
in standby screen you'll see the name of place as a second line after Network name. ( Provided your operator supports. )
if you restart your phone then it will work much faster next time. Also this software is currently at it's starting condition just like Google Earth. As more people will use it the more it will get faster and accurate.
