Oh a high end SE with a big screen 2.2 inch!! SE is like indian cricket team. They improve but their competitors improve much better. In this case SE should have got 2.8 inch screen to match the competition. But SE concentrates only selling high end phones at lower prices than competitors. Naturally 2.2 inch screen is what users get.
Sony Ericsson is the best phone in the market. better than Nokia, Nokia sucks!. I rather buy NokLa the chinese clone phone than Nokia
That phone is ridiculous. Couldnt read any specs. Talk time looked low. But wow! Didnt like the lil scroll roller thing in the front, they break. That phone is done by a company under the SE name with SE parts if I read right. Its a giant though;big/heavy. Dont think it has a xenon flash either just l.e.d.(could be wrong) Still it is impressive and maybe similiar to whats to come. Don't like sliders from my experience. Candybar, candybar, candybar. I'd make a exception for that though. Why did you make me look at that?
this device is based on SE-A200 Platform. That means it can even support a 32GB! Memory-card. Bye.
Lifes better not knowing all that. I'm in the states. NY. We've always gotten the crapiest selection of phones. Just happy that the k850i is a world phone, that we didn't have to wait for the k840a or something. Now I have to go take a look. Japan is one of te most expensive places though.
I heard that the Maximum memory via M2 Card is 4GB but was wondering if this can support 6GB/8GB MicroSD or MicroSDHC cards
It has a motion sensor (accellerometre), but it does not support the music shaker control.
You cannot control your music to stop/play, shuffle, next or go back a song because this phone simply does not have a walkman button.
You're to hold the walkman button, and then shake the phone however you want for whatever you want it to do. That's what the Music Shaker control is.
the specs of this phone tell that it has motion sensor
can it be used to shift bw tracks like in w910 to go to next track or the previous track
ahd there is a theme in w910 called eclipse is it there in this phone
can anybody using this phone help me in this doubt
n82-Another freezing/slow running/crashing symbian OS phone. If we wanted that we would buy a p1. Atleast it would only freeze a 1/3 of the time. It still doesn't have image stabilizer, nor l.e.d.'s to be used as torch and for video recording. But they finally got the xenon flash right. And i thought the n95 was the big winner. Not so confident hey? Dont forget to include the near $200 price difference. Oh, and from those pics it looks like a fingerprint magnet. I like how at the end the author apologizes for the pic quality."they were taken with a n95". Priceless.
this fone is ok but at the price of being smaller it leaves out some features that something like the rather bulky n95 packs in,there was a time when small thin fones were the rage, now tho its all about features...the k850 is neither tiny and thin or feature packed to the brim. so where does this land, and ill tell you, it lands in the very good but not the best catagory
SE is not a stable brand as compared to nokia.SE just concentrates on camera and sound whereas nokia provides you stronger functions in your pocket.
This is the best phone ever, even out of Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, L.G and ect ...... I am loving this phone !
Is anyone else having problems with their touchscreen, i love the phone, but every half hour, my touch buttons wont work, for a least three hours, happens all the time, ive tried everything. is this a fault?
i buy the k850i and i feel wonderfull with this GREAT phone.camera mp4 spacially xenon flash and the menu its interestig.nokia bad menu so and alarm only one the k850i 5 alarm i love k850i
@ 369€ you can't compare this with the N95 or N82 or anything similiar as they are around 150+ € more!!
We don't care about the N82, that's why we're here in the first place.
Please go home, and back to your world of 2cm phones.
I've never seen Nokia push the limit for ergonomics and size yet, so please do shut up.
When you're comparing the N82, compare it to either the W890 or W910. Because the W910 is a slider, and the W890 is the newest Walkman addition, and the N82 IS a multimedia phone.
The N82 cannot compare up to the K850, and you know it.
The people have talked, and I think it's time for you to end your absurd complaints about this phone. It's nice to dream about phones, but once you start dreaming and find out it's not real, that's no reason to get all hyped up to bash this phone.
You were probably going to get this phone, but now that you've heard bad things about this phone, and probably presented them to someone who was going to buy you this phone, you aren't getting it anymore. That's still no reason to start giving the same impression that let you down.
I also haven't ever seen you write that you actually OWNED or BOUGHT the phone, so I don't see why some of your points are valid. I'm actually in the process of buying it, if you'd like to fire back at me, but that doesn't mean I've actually had hands on experience with it, and I'm not saying you haven't had time with it either.
If you have, good for you, but you're coming to the phone with a bias view. Either one that comes from Nokia, or one that comes with just a bad overall impression of the phone without even touching it or getting used to the phone first.
This phone is very exceptional, and it stands side by side with the Nokia N95.
I'm not a fan for any brand, but I believe that Motorola and SonyEricsson are the highest quality built phones about Samsung and Nokia.
The phones we've been getting here in Canada from them are all very low quality phones. If they're not high quality in the furthest reaches of the world, then why should they be on the top of the global mobile economics list?
Just today I had two friends drop a W910 and a 5660 accidentally respectively, and guess what happened to each of them? The W910 experienced it's own battery cover coming off as a result of the impact. The 5660 on the other hand came out with it's upper faceplate cracked in various places, and the slider component feeling VERY loose.
Sure phones aren't built to resist against drops, but that just shows the difference of build quality between both phones. It might be a bit bias as these two phones aren't the full representation of what each company can do, but the 5660 is definitely one of the closest phones to represent the company's profile of sliders, which in turn, shows the low build quality of their phones. For SonyEricsson, this phone is one of their flagship phones for a series, which comes to show that the build of the W series is at a sufficient quality.
Hi all.... Can anyone pls help me. i wanna know this phone got megabass or not.... So far, only K750i got megabass.. thats all..
