SE K850 is just an ordinary cell phone with 5MP camera, thats all! Small screen(only 256K colors...come on in 2007), NO GPS, NO WIFI, cheap VIDEO recording quality, no no no features, NOW i understand why the battery life is better than other phones. SonyEricsson could build a much better phones than this CRA........!
some country will release n95 8gb during the 2nd week of octorber....i hope k850 able to catch up nokia...because both are too handsome
Nokia lovers will always prefer nokias design and SE lovers will stick to SE's design. So let it be and choose ur own phone.Personally i think the k850s design is good and definetely better lookin compared to n95.Btw i used to be a nokia lover, but not anymore after i had enuf of their problematic and boring phones. Now im turnin to SE and im quite sure they have more to offer.
Oh, sorry !
Are you sure that channels means how clear the sound is that's coming out of the speakers ?
Because in the specifications' of the K850i where it says 72 channels they write the word: RINGTONES
P.S: Too bad GSMArena didn't put that graph that shows us how loud and clear the speakers are for the phones in the K850i review !
i glad to support this phone, but most nokia phones has stereo speaker, was that means nokia take priority on sound loudness?
oh..ok, channel is the decision of sound quality, the what features decide loudness?
Channels means quality of sound,
it has nothing to do with loudness...
In a couple of weeks, we will see what this phone can do and we will have more details about its accessories, TV-out,GPS and most important the 8GB+ memory cards, i m curious to see if the sony sticks will run faster than the SD cards
@ cell phone lover.,
the channel is used only for polyphonic tones and not for mp3
Its going to be October tomorrow and ya 15-18 more days to go to get the original K850i 5 MP beauty. This time N95 will lose in camera but still win in video rec.
I reckon it will be a tie.
i like the SE features, but not the design... nokia is great, terrific phone design ever...
i know that but it doesnt have a motion sensor which is a cool thing to have in a phone.
So, when people are referring to CHANNELS, do they mean that's how loud the cell phone is ?
EXAMPLE: K850i is 72 Channels
If that's true, then can someone tell me how loud the W810i's channel was ?
I don't know about that, but this is based on the experiences with the many candybars Nokia has released, and the W810/W800, W600, RAZRMaxxV6, U600/U700, A706, N80.
But this phone has 72 channels, and you can always trust SE to have good sound quality in what ever volume you're at. If it's max is the sweetest though a bit less louder vs Nokia's loudest is the worst, then I guess they're both matched for the most part, because then Nokia doesn't have as good quality as the SE who's softer, though sounds better.
The Sony Ericsson K850i is the phone i have been waiting for. The features excel over any phone i have seen and tested and the phone is not even put yet!!
I work for O2 and the interest we have had is beyond what we were expecting. We will be recieving the phone at Trafford Centre Manchester within the first 2weeks of October. It will be free on a £35 tariff and above.
Forget Carphone Warehouse who cannot offer the same deals as us even though they use our network. The amount of problems/complaints we recieve is amazing!!
We will be selling the Iphone as well on 9th November. It is always a god idea to come to the networks original store as you will receive our brilliant deals as well as excellant customer services and not fobbed off.
Does the K850 have mineral glass? Mobilebee.co.uk Quater that the K850 is due for release in 2days! Does anyone know how reliable this site in giving the correct information at all? Here's hoping they are right anyway
I just want to know if there's a specific machine that could determine how loud the cell phones' speakers are ?
You guys, from what I see, this cell phone looks like it's going to be pretty loud.
The reason I'm saying this is because the speakers for this phone is a straight line ( same as the W800i ).
So the volume will be focused in a certain direction which will make it louder. That was the key thing that the W800i had.
I hope everybody will understand what I'm saying.
P.S: I really want this cell phone to come out NOW !
