I agree with you all the way bro! Sophie, my 42 inch bravia 1080p have better picture resolution than your ipod, what you say about that?
If we are here in S.E. forum that means we're interested with Sony NOT nokia, which part you guys don't understand? Keep brag about the features of a n95 like we don't know what the brick can do! The best part for us S.E. fans are patient finally pays off, we will soon be holding our "brand new" k850 and comparing to your "1yr old brick", I bet that won't feel good for you guys. Please don't be jealous that your investment had turn into waste since you have to stuck with it, unless spend more money on n95 8gb, just another 700-800 dollars, I'm sure all you die hard nokia fan won't mind save your pay check for that.
i wud like to know, who at sony e created the keypad for this k850 coz its hilarious, u need really thin fingers to push the buttons on this thing :D
i hav'nt got a nokia n95 i have a sony ericsson w850 :D, thats even better than this k850 :D
I can say that this is a great phone. The features are awesome. I am waiting for its release(7th Oct).
just want to ask about the sound. i know the walkman-series phones have better sound than k-series phones, but what will be the major differences (like, bass, treble).does it have equalizer to adjust the sound. i dont use external speakers for listening songs, so do tell about sound in headset.
though this phone is yet to release those who have used k810i can say about this.
I am a fan of motorola phones (using L7), but because of the amazing features of 850i, i want to switch to SE.
lastly my budget is around 20,000INR. If its price exceeds much more than that i may think of k810i.
Like I said before, with Vodafone it is in October (although the is no confirmed date in October). With other networks I couldn't tell you.
leave the k 850 in the shop window, it looks better there too.any idea of the rom,ram and the cpu of this phn compared to nokia N95?is this toy phn has rom more than 128mb like n95?.i'm 100%sure it has 40mb.N95 got 64mb ram.how much ram has this toy got?is it having dual cpu architecture? well N95 got dual CPU of (ARM)333Mhz.is it having built in hard ware 3D accelerator for gaming just like n95?it is having any TV out.WELLL WHATA BOUT DA GPS?well n95 is powered by the isostarIII chip.i appreciate motion sensor of the k850.its a technique used in iPhone.any way good attempt to mess with the best.I.R is outdated, fine!what about coming up WLAN technology?.how come they forgot to inter great it in to k850?what ever it is,nothing is best not even n95 or k850.but SE is far behind when we compare the Hard ware architectures with nokia.any way i hope it will satisfy those infants who wants a toy with 5MP cam just because nokia has it with.just for u to play have to wait!!!!!
i agree with device wizard
we just have to wait till this phone comes out before saying anything definite. was also looking at the N95, only problems were
1. battery drains in a day - i think this is my main gripe, when you travel alot this can be a big problem especially in an emergency
2. slider phones are really less durable than candybars
I work for Vodafone and have a Nokia N95 but am looking at the k850i for my mum. I can confirm the K850i is out in October, although the date no one can be sure off(sometimes the is a delay in the warehouse processing the batch, delay in delievering the handset to our warehouse, or configurating the stock codes when ordering)but it will be out in October on Vodafone (don't know in regards to other networks). As for the K850i itself, I'll be honest, I've not played with one so far as I'm on Mat Leave at the moment. I've got a N95 and had no problems so far (had it since May) but my mum prefers the S/E range for usablity as opposed to Nokia. Me however it is visa versa (I had the S/E w950i and couldnt get along with it personally, so its now in a drawer). I guess the S/E vs Nokia debate will always go on, however I personally think its down to personal preference at the end of the day, and whether you have had a bad experience before with a particular manufacturer. Personally I can't wait until it comes out!!
sophie - you have an ipot... so sit there...
nokia means... quick and sick
sony means slow and superb... thats why they took so long time to make this ultimate beauty... are you over with the pot - sophie...
your post is based on what you always hear at some nokia fanboys who bitches K850 features without enough knowledge of what this phone can do that N95 terribly failed to. try not to be subjective and keep emotional prejudices out of the forum if you wanted a non flaming forum.
You're jealous cuz the N95 has had so much bad review from real testing and it doesn't help that Nokia's reputation continues on the third installation with their kind of 'quality'.
btw, our phones aren't rubber, it's Nokia who makes the rubber phones. Remember the 3220? Remember the other sport phones? While our SE sport phones remained plastic, DUH.
Also, don't include iPods, you know you're being stupid in comparisons when you've put a phone up to an iPod. Why not put the N95 up against an iPhone? Oh right, because the iPhone is better in useability!
Leave Nokia phones in the trash, with all the other broken peices. Nokia needs to rethink their ergonomics seriously.
It has a UI that performs WAYYYYY faster and smoother without freezes then the N95 Symbian S60 series. SE is smart for not following the Symbian line outside of their PDA styled phones. They also have a lens cover, who would be stupid enough to put a lens cap on a phone? Oh I see, Nokia did. I mean, that's why their camera sticks out, right? So that Chinese companies can actually create caps that fit on that bulge? BTW, we here at the SE K850 thread have decided and accepted that infrared is a very insolent technology, so don't mention it cause you'll look very... 'sharp'
No one can answer the questions that ppl make in this forum hum... because... i think that the phone is not out yet? is this? ¬¬"
and if someone have it, it's an beta version for sure....
Vodafone will be releasing this phone on October 14th in the UK. That's what they told me anyway.
leave the sony ericsson k850's in there boxes where they all belong, sony need to rethink and make better phones in the future :-)
the screen on my ipod is better than this, even that has a 16.7million screen :-)
they should also add some facilities like camera lens cap, they also add OS system and infrared.
