Please let me know if K850 is compatible with BMW bluetooth functionality.
This phone is awsome . . .they compered whith the N95 and they sed k850 loos this compare but the dont compared these tow in the night . . .exacly k850 beat the N95
I wanted to choose between both the k850 and N95 but after using both there is a clear winner and that is Nokia N95.K850 only has 5MP camera, media playerbut lacks GPS,WIFI and the screen size is too small to enjoy the camera features. N95 has a better camera and better design and much larger screen 2.6 as 2.2 is nothing.Video resolution also has no comparison as nokia recors in VGA mode In the end the screen colour of N95 again outshines the k850 as there is no match between 16M colours and 256 colours !
SE just lost coz of bad video recording. If they had put VGA resolution then the k850 would have won the 5MP shootout. Plus the K850 they used in the review is still a prototype and is being tested in SE labs to improve it. Just wait till the final version and GSMarena is promising to revise it's shootout if performance improves. So wait n see! coz SE is coming.
Sony Ericsson K850 vs Samsung G600 vs LG KU990 vs Nokia N95 8GB/N82..... Whatever bad Nokia fans may say on the SE K850, i think people has already seen the bugs of N series, poor bat life, etc and they have already made their mind to buy the SE K850... So Nokia fans just go post ur s**t in Nokia Forums... SE will remain the best always...
even i support nokia from the beginning, but no doubt SE price is much better then nokia. With its function, the phone worth for its price. Nokia is different, is like BMW, much more depend on their reputation, popularity.....but their function are great, just not worth for the price
i can't wait when SE will release an updated model after this one. Perhaps it will be called the K900, a Cybershot with full touchscreen and has an optical zoom. So for now i have to pass with this product.
the phone is promising, but this is the first SE phone to produce a 5 megapix image resolution.expect to see more products in the future, with perhaps a better screen resolution (maybe at 2.6" screen. BUt this prototype is good, especially for those who would be buying this product.
n95 is not big.l8ly i tot n95 is big and heavy but not.its looks lyk big bcoz d screen size is 2.6".k850 is suck, ugly design and bad camera.ive used 2 ericson l8ly and very weak.especially d keypad and very sensitive.all parts of ericson is very expensive.
Hi friends... I've played with a pre-release model of the K850... It's just so great... First thing the keypad is unlike other models but after some time it become just to easy to use... Great keypad in fact... Some lighting effects too... And the touch buttons are so nice and help-s a lots... The display is great... Not necessary to mention the camera and flash of this baby... Amazing... K850 please come out soon... Recommended to buy...
heres a few specs of the most highly anticapted samsung G800 thats set to outshine the se k850 3G HSDPA, 16Million colour screen, 5mp camera with 3x optical zoom, autofocus, xenon flash, media player thats expected to play a wide range of formats n DVD quality video recording.
If you read GSM Arena's review, you'll see that the expected price tag is gonna be 430 euros... using modern conversion rates, that's about $600 USD and $620 CAD... (taken from last page of "Sony Ericsson K850 review: 5 megapixel Phone-and-Shoot"
dont think samsung will loose out somehow , especially as they r releasing the samsung g800 later this which is there first HSPDA 3G phone and has a 5mp camera with 3x optical zoom, so we'll see shall we SAMSUNG FOREVER!!
there is no point to compare between n95 and k850 just because they have both 5 mp...we can compare their cameras but obviously n95 has a lot more features...but also a lot bigger and more expensive..i like k850 a lot and i liked cyber shot more and i hope it will be very good..i have lots of faith in 850 because i dont wanna carry big phone like n95....
Phone will be more then 450 US/CAD.
For US it should be around 500-550.
For CAD it should be around 550-600.
The speakers will be better, no doubt, when not bouncing the sound off of anything else. Just direct transfer through the air to the ears.
Samsung will lose horribly, just as they've always. Video calling is a great thing that's starting to build lots of hype and Samsung can't grasp to even put tri-band HSDPA into their phones which give even the Eurasian 3G users heightened coverage across the world and their country. If they won't invest in 3.5G triband technology, then I won't invest in them.
k850 has lots of competition. f700s comin out soon with qwerty and that nice lookin UI. n95 8gb, well, thats all i have to say. lets not forget LG viewty. Makes me wonder if K850 can still be on top?
When will this phone be coming out? I would love to purchase one. Reading the reviews and everything makes me hyped for this phone.
Ha ha, whoops i mean onto a winner with the K850, sorry to all se fans!!
to the GUY who sent the last POST: who cares about the N95!! sony ericsson are onto a winner with the N95, im not just talking camera wise im talking about the k850's media player it beats the N95 hands down, N95 cant play H.263 , H.264 files what about VORBIS can the N95 play those files?? no it cant. k850 can so its winner in more ways than just the CAMESA!!
