Awesome phone. Should the dpad prove it's self good, the best non-os phone, and my next phone.
N95 is an overpriced fantastic symbian with shitty battery and apparently mediocre build quality .
OMFG.... this phone is amazing... cant wait till this is launched... it looks great... my next upgrade =]
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaw i think no need for a digi cam more and throw the n95 away the king is here it is Sony Ericsson K850 nokia n95 we r waiting u Mr.king
tis phone is ok but sure not same class as N95 even the camera with same 5 mp... but it not nice as N95 for sure..... Carl Zeisess lens... pls dun think the lens useless for a camare.....
sony ericsson may not have the overloaded features, however, rest assured you have a good quality working phone and at the end not feeling short changed with a battery with a very short life like your favorite n95.
no optical zoom, only digital 16x zoom like on k800i. when you zoom it the pictures are not clear. on real se camera you have at least 3x optical zoom. optical zoom is much better than digital.
hey evry1 hvnt posted since the k750 came out lol, still got it 2 lol. just wna say this is a prty mint fone, definitly upgradn wen it coms out. would of been nice 2 c a vga video in it tho and a light lyk the k750 (i use it lyk a torch lol). and they mad the batery last as long as the k750 :D. and realy 256k colours man thats enough stop whingin, and wifi lol who cares lol well i dnt neway. SE has done well and we all no the cam quality is gna blow our minds!! juz a question where the select button that would of com wif the joysick? lol neway luvn it n lyk i said definitly getn it!!
I have the K800 and I love it. I can't wait to get the K850 :) SE is the best.
this will be a bestseller for sure/two heads
are better than 1 as the saying goes, sony and ericsson.nice masterpiece.... nokia diehards try this........
apart from the WiFi and Symbian OS, this is definitely the challenger for the N95. imo the WiFi is just pointless for a phone that doesn't have OS, yes it can be used for internet calling but what's the point if it drains battery faster than GSM signal could do? also the SE's decision to ditch the utilization of the symbian OS to this phone is just a good step, thus preventing so many software issues to plague the users from it's early release once it's in the market :)
for those who didn't know yet and would probably comment about the so called "2 year old SE UI" SE have, the new phones using the JP-8 platform(Z750,K850,W910,K530) have a GUI which was a cross-breed from SE and Sagem with more menu transitions, Support for Flash menu and so on. so we can see a new UI from SE this time. anyway even though the SE UI is about 2 years of age, no other UI comes close to the consistency and great menu animations and Flash Menus of SE except the iPhone's. once more you can use HGE-100 to utilize the GPS reciever on this phone without giving any size increase on the phone as it is on the headset itself. the JSR-256 is a very innovative feature(read my previous post) thanks to the accelerometer feature, this API increases further the capabilities of that feature like music and gaming controls:)
Awesome!!! why u say its not goog the keypad??? I think this way is so cool, it has more space, plus more features for the camera, a bit bigger display, auto cover for the camera and more. It will be a hit...
nice set of features...
but the design execution is a little off...
i mean...what's up with the keypad?
Yes..You can say it Handycam (tm) because it record video at 30 frame per second. Thanks god it's not as bulky as N95 plus there is an extension for GPS gadget which when plugged in ear can guide you.
"Once you plug the GPS Enabler, the phone turns into a satellite navigation system which offers dynamic voice instructions. An additional benefit of using such an accessory is the opportunity to monitor your workouts with the "Tracker" GPS application and collect information on speed and distance as well as get visual post-training analysis. According to Sony Ericsson the GPS Enabler should be compatible with all Sony Ericsson mobile phones with Java support from Sony Ericsson K800 onwards."
