I've played with the iphone, and Im amazed atleast on the first minute but then I realized its so much harder to create a message on pure touchscreen esp when ur on the road. Using my P1 is so much easier esp when i got used to rockr qwerty. But iphone's screen is so much elegant to look at. I dont know why some people say that this unit is so hard to use. Im barely using the stylus (only on using the dictionary and office apps) and rely so much using my fingers and the qwerty.
Is it possible to run Flash Applications on this phone? Does the Symbian software support it?
I have a question. can this phone's WLAN be used to connect a laptop onto the internet? because i really want wireless. Thx guys
Hi guys I picked up the SE P1i few weeks back and am having alot of problems with the wifi.Whenever I try logging on or i am already connected i keep gettin the messages "unable to locate remote server' Is this a problem with the phone or with my network connection.if it was the network how was i able to connect earlier? Please help !!!!
The P1's touch screen is great, I bearly use the pencil, most of the time I use my fingers on the touch screen and it responds very well, u can also use the 3-way navigation key located on the left side of the phone. I have a 4GB M2 card on it and have 6 full length movies, the p1 can play them very smoothly without hanging and in full screen mode. The keypad is different than anything i've seen before but it's very easy to get used to...I recommend this phone 100%...Sony Ericsson RuleS!!!
I have a few questions for a P1i owner..if you could please answer:
1. How is hte touchscreen..I know it is not as advanced as the iphone..but do you need the stylus for everything..?and do you think the touchscreen needs replacing at any points?
2. Do you find you can play movies well on it..and that it does not lag?
3. Is the texting very easy on the keyboard?
4. Any other inputs would be really helpful..thank you very much for any replies
