Am torn between the E90 and SE P1i. Am leaning towards the P1i and key factor for E90 is the large screen. If the P1i can accomodate me reading a whole PDF page or a webpage comfortably then I wld go for the P1i. Comments welcomed.
Not yet bought the phone but planning to buy one. Can somebody please let me know that does it support all applications like 3gpp,mpeg,wav,etc., and what is thw difference between a symbian and a windows enabled phone and which one is better for large data storage. I'll be thankful if someone solves my this question as i'm not getting a full satisfied answer. Plz do e-mail me n let me know my query. Thanks a Lot. Take Care. Bye.
hahaha.. just what i thought, the phones price is dropping.. make sure that the price at greenhills includes warantee.. i wouldn't buy it if it doesn't.. for crying out loud it's a sony.. they haven't been reliable for me lately.
To all P1 wannabe owner in the Philippines!! Updated price of P1 in Greenhills, San Juan is between 23,500pesos (522 USD) to 24,000pesos (533 USD).
for malaysian, rm18++ actually at carrefour penang, not in but rented phone booth there. at kota bharu also same. AP set not MIDLAND set. KL around rm19++ but not exceeding rm2000. wait a few month and i guaranteed can get for rm1500 or less. anyone know how good the video recording? using QCIF as in k800/k810?
hey guys got this phone 2 days back its a complete phone with all that u wnt in. camera clarity like cyber shot, digital voice obviously no comparision wth any other phone
its the supreme 1, big clear screen,fm radio,1gb card, gud speed no hangs like nokia always face this probs in almost all its high range mobiles. 1 word better than n95 b,coz n95 hangs 2. n all this superb features in 1 mobile that is P1i n ull got this all in just 23,000 Rupees in india so dont wait just grab it its superb.
bro, sure ka na 26k lng? i would rather buy this instead of n95..
does it have a lens cover? i dun want the camera to be scratch up!!! planning to get this phone....
Here in the Philippines... The lowest that I've seen was P26,390 at Fone Style, SM Southmall, this includes a 1 year warranty service and parts from Sony Ericsson...
To all who have purchased the P1
Considering buying the phone
1. Does P1 suffer from memory loss like P990i
2. On P990i cannot view items on screen in bright light. What is P1 like
Dont you know that W960i is having a VGA video recording @ 30fps. Isn't that cool. But the camera is 3.2 megapixel, i am afraid does the video matches the vidoe of N95,since it is a 5 mp camea.
Does the P1 synch with Lotus Organizer ? If not is there a third party software available to do this ? I currently use a Sony Ericsson P 900 that synch with Organizer.
now a 10 day old user of the phone..... whole day tinkering around with it also last me whole day comfortable battery life....
and when i say tinkering its pretty heavy tinkering :D
rest hasnt crash on me.... response time isnt bad either....... net connectivity is great........ havent tried wifi.... blue tooth n other works very well...
jog dial is strong n have assuring click and yoohoo no joystick... cam is good and specially the flashes are pretty strong....
only apprehension i had was with the keypad.... which i think is surprizingly cool... its fast and predictive text works very well...
only thing ... i feel they could have kept in better would have been better wifi and better screen... which is sub standard compared to rest of the features.
and came in with 1gb card here in India... and costed me Rs 23.5K which is like 580$
Got the phone yesterday. Love the battery life, been using wi-fi, bluetooth, calls, emails and its still around 80%. Build quality is solid you dont feel the cheap plastics you do with the N95. 3G works and video calling works as well.
The phone is very stable and has yet to crash on me and is also pretty fast. The keyboard takes alot of getting used to as im a full QWERTY person. Basically navigation is easiest with stylus unfortunately i hate styluses.
Camera works fine and takes very good pictures, flash is also strong enough. Although its quite slow to bring up the camera but nothing catastrophic.
Call quality is clear and loud enough and caller id is pretty good as well
Alerts are decent, nothing great. Overall a decent phone. Not sure about that keyboard though. Hmmm....
