hi, i have been using it from the past 3 days ,, dam good amazing poiece,, i wd definately sggest it to people,,
There is one small query i would like to raise,, i had a 910i before p1, sound from the earphones used to be loud and crisp, not in this p1, can there be any reason behind ??
please mail me your problems at email@example.com
I had so many night mares with the 990i, Please be honest, is the P1 an improved version of the P 990i, and are all the bugs fixed?????
i am using the P mobiles by SE since the p800, i hated it. then affection started to bulid up with the P910, the the wonderful P990i. But now i am totaly in love with my P1
it is fast reliable, and great looking. if you are a first times with the Ps please take yout time to familiarize with it then you will find it easy to use.
I wonder if SE will also leave its users with unstable firmware.
They released a statement that there wil only be one more bugfix on the P990 and that they have fulfilled their legal oligations to the Operators for bugfixes.
The same thing happened with the P800 and the P900.
I think that trying to compete with the iPhone with this device will be useless unless they have the same rock solid reputation for customer support and stable platforms as Apple. Uhm, they don't.
C'mon SE - why not support your supporters?
Great phone, just bought it. Kind slow for some apps but it runs great. Paid US $540 quite reasonable. Not much software compared to my E61i though exp voip and zip
Why isn't SE P1 showing up on PriceGrabber, or Amazon, or in US stores as widely as the Nokia N95? I prefer a touchscreen, so I would prefer the features trade-off btw the N95 and the P1. But the lack of P1 availability spooks me back to the N95.
On a serious note can one type with speed and accuracy on the P1's unusual keyboard?? If not, one may as well buy the SE W960.
I think SE needs to take a real hard look to their vision if they have one! About the P-1 device.
1- Is it supposed to be some thing to fill agape in their product line to what is available in the market by the other competitors?
2- Or because SE think’s the P-1 is a new product that the market lacks?
If the answer is no (1) then that will explain why the P-1 came out like it is and why the P-990i was released late way after the published date set by SE And way late after the introduction of the P-900i to the market as the next generation P series.
If the answer is no (2) then that will explain why SE has less than 10% of the market share since they lost their sense of reality to the
Consumer needs and their competitive edge.
SE needs to decide what they won’t the P series to be?! Or cancel it from their production line all together.
Got to fiddle with this phone today ... my opinion ... it is really sad... SE what a fall from grace The p910 was a classy piece...now this... have you guys lost it
I am using the O2 stealth & O2 Mini for the past 2 years & am very satisfied. I am now considering the HTC Touch which is WM & the P1i. Firstly, as it has a Touchscreen, does it hv an option for a qwert KB on the screen. Secondly, can u edit Word/Excel files using Quick office? Need this feedback
A hands-on review of the Sony Ericsson P1i
I recently purchased P1i, in fact first owner in the city. I want to know how to configure my Blackberry Enterprise A/C with P1i (Steps) and what all I need to get from my IT. Also if anyone have any idea how to use conference facility with phone book search for Incoming calls. Last how to change the Keypad lock timer, it gets lock every 5-10 sec of idle period.
oh in india its just cost Rs.22800 and in Us dollar its justs 524$ i like it.
This phone is one of the best Sony Ericsson ever made .It has ever thing in it & the size is great ,I think the 3.2 mp camera is enough + it's 3G with WLAN & Touch-Screen I don't think I need anything better than that !!! & the price is competitive $ 723 only !
