if you really say speedy processor means most for the business tool let me tell you:
>>Some/Most of HTC devices and even the High-quality ASUS PDA P526 uses 195Mhz processor namely TI-OMAP 850
>>If we recall a history, P910, 7710, 9300, 9300i and 9500 all uses 156Mhz processors. with the relatively smaller screen display rendering(208x320 vs 640x320/200) the P-series aheads them in performance. i'm not even doubting if P1 will surpass E90's performance because in notebook mode E90 utilizes a whooping 800x480 display slowing the phone performance over the N95 during the Mobile-review benchmark performance test. So with the small resolution differences between the 208x320 in older P phones and 320x240 of the new phones i'm pretty sure the additional 52Mhz on the P1(208Mhz) is adequate enough to run efficiently. bear in mind that Symbian is a lighter OS when compared to Palm and Windows.
not changing my p990 for this.. is this the best you can do? for crying out loud. still wlan/b?! only 3.15mp cam? geez. its a successor of m600! why call it a P1? if this baby had a flip keypad maybe it might be worthy joing the p family. just maybe.
Why did they release the k810... this was the successor to the k800... it looks good, its got the functionality and now i'm going to have to wait! Grrrr....
It looks cool but i wanted to know if it worked with MBW-100 sony ericsson bluetooth watch?
One thing that stands clear with Sony is their efficiency. They are the only phone now days that can boast an 8 hour talk time but in doing so they use a processor with less speed and capabilities. For people who use this phone for business this is an unacceptable compromise. We need the power to run quick look ups in a massive contacts database and to be able to move quickly between applications. All of the other junk that they pile in to the phone such as radio, mp3 players, video players etc... is all just glitz to sell the phone to a larger demographic. It takes away from the overall functionality of the phone turning it in to a toy rather than a tool.
looking at the design...i think SE should name it "M1i" coz it just upgrade from M600 with double camera...and new casing...
Would have been great but... man, is this UGLY!! P910 is waaay better looking than this. Don't they have focus groups for this before they finalize the design and such? I hardly imagine anything nice to say about the design, not to mention the weird keypad design. Did they even try using the keypad themselves?? What a wasted opportunity.
I agree good features yet its awful, look at it you need style with quality unless its a total waste, you'd need to hide in a dark ally to use it! Prove me wrong
Not happy with what exactly this phone has everyhting what more could you want,it has a smaller mass than the n95 with 98% of the features plus its doensnt use the slow S60 platform, you will see pash when this is released you will see mark my words
This phone is just wrong, flat yes BUT how wide??? How will it take over the world? By enslaving us or destroying us? Either way im not happy
This is an awesome phone i would say an epiphany in the mobile phone world, Pash doesnt agree with me but he will see this phone will take over the world
15 fps video?! Unintuitive keypad?! Fugly design?! Come on SE, someone's not pulling their weight around in your office!
