Simply multipurpose. Its a Phone/PDA that allows you to do almost everything from checking your mail on the move to planning your busy day. With great third party softwares the possibilities are endless. But the camera could do with better resolution, hence, the p900.
i have had the phone for a while but after the recent thunder storm i havent been able to use it,it keeps coming up as error 11 so if any one can shed some light on what could be the prob i would be gratefull!!!
Does this phone play or record videos? if not, can a video recording program be installed in it? I'm hoping to hear from you guys, i wish to buy this phone...
had it for a few months it's totally whicked. although can't put mp3's as ringtones found out another way just by converting the mp3 into AMR format using converters found on the internet. don't sound the same though :-( . But overall one of the best phone of it's series
I have a P800, but i can't synchronise it with my computer (and I realy tried)I don't know were the problemm is... can anyone help me?
when i see this i said tomy friends that i want it and its second day i will purchase this phone this phone is looking good and its functions are excellent compare with any nokia phone
its n excilent phone every thing is fine n any time better than a nokia phone
hey guyz i jxt wanna kno dt does dis set supports memory card upto 256mb????
I find the P800 to be a good phone interms of funcitons. However,I need to find sites that offer useful software for the phone. If anyone knows of such sites, please do tell.
to watcher: p800 does not have themes, but you can install the magic themes application... it's not the usual "themes" but it's pretty nice than having to stick to the default background
just wanna verify if the p800 really supports only up to a 128mb memory card? i am planning to buy a 256mb memory card for it but i don't want it to go to waste. i have a nokia n-gage before (the 1st version, not the qd) and i had a 256mb memory card for it, which i can't use now. the p800 is pretty good, though the colors are not so vibrant as my n-gage...
I don't have a comment rather a question cos i'm on the look out to buy one.
Is it a camera phone & vdeo recording?
If yes for how long can it record?
looking forward to your response.
This phone is three years old now, but can still hold it's head high as one of the most flexible, usable, and advanced smartphones on the market. In my opinion it was the first to truly bring together a phone and a PDA and produce a device that really works well as a single unit, and it's only been bettered since by direct descendants such as the P900 and P910. Nothing Nokia have produced has ever touched this - not the bulky Communicator series, and certainly not the Series 60 dross they like to pass off as "smart" - anything that still relies on a basic phone keypad for data entry is nothing more than an over-specified toy, no matter what OS it's running.
I've personally used this phone for almost two years (a record for me) and I've never owned a phone OR a pda that was so consistently useful a companion. With the amount of software now available, there's very little if anything this little phone can't do - including all the video recording and multimedia you can eat - and it still amazes me with new tricks. Just yesterday I loaded a free Gameboy emulator, brilliant fun!
This is a device that really embraces and defines our "connected" world - I don't just browse the web on it, I maintain my own site using an FTP client, and can even use Telnet. I can also connect to virtually any messenger service, such as MSN or AOL, all from the palm of my hand.
Put simply, the P800 is a giant in all but stature - a device that's far greater than the sum of its parts. And two years later, my friends - even the ones with the very latest phones - are still jealous of what it can do.
i have been using this phone for past 1 and a half ot 2 year, the phone is brilliant has got all the features however lately its giving problem with the network, thats put me off about this phone.
I think i should buy p800.coz this mobile has all features and the most thing is that i like music with sound.so this mobile has a good sound like DVD.so i like this one.
I think i should buy 6600 as its the same price and the same OS!(Symbian)
6600 has a 65k TFT screen and smaller than this one........
