i have this cell for 3 years now, it still rocks and its way better than its future counterparts which is the p990 and the p1 :)

ILUVTOBROWSE, 05 Sep 2008This phone looks preety good, if u hav had N81 8GB, can you tell me if it's good, Thank You.i have not used either the p910 nor the N81, but generally sony is more robust, good sound and display quality,the p910 is older than the n81 so if i were you i would compare them here on gsm arena

this is the only non-nokia phone that i have owned for the longest time. i've had nokia 3210, 3310, 5210, 7650, 7210, 6600, 7610, 3230, n91, n81 8gb, n82, and sony ericsson p910i over the past 8 years. what i can say about p910i is that it's pretty tough phone. i've had it for 3 years now. screen is huge but not so bright. sound quality through the headset when playing mp3s is very good. battery life is the best. no nokia phones i've owned can ever match up against p910's battery life. it lasts a full week with a single charge on moderate use. it lasts a whole day on heavy use like web browsing. my n82 will last only 2 days on moderate use and only 4 hours on heavy use. but p910i is quite slow in opening applications and executing commands. btw, my p910i's battery shows 1260mah of battery capacity not 1100 mah as shown in the specs sheet.

The maximum card memory accepted is not 1 Gb it is 2 Gb (just talked with the tehnical support dep. at sony ericsson). And btw is a great phone, the best one ever, for example the baterry holds one week at normal use, and for some time i wish it breacks down to buy another one but he do not want to.

well i've been using my p910i for almost a year,and i find it sooooo cool.the screen is good..and also the music player,but im planning to swap this unit to p990i coz i found out that the new p990i has a new added features like a 3G and has a built-in WiFi already..and also upgraded the MMC..that u can use a memory card up to 2GB or 4GB?
anyway,i'm looking forward to sony ericsson's new phone with a tv features or like a 3G iphone.
