superb piece of work.almost all in one.nokia must learn some lessons.they r never innovative.SE should concentrate on battery.it gets exhausted in just 24 hrs....
well,i lost my faith on sony ericsson with this phone set.first of all,its an obese, fragile like nay other sony, and the performance never live up to its looks.the keypad is inconvenient and the LCD durability sucks.overall, this thing sucks.but its a good option if u need nothin than entertainment.
heard a successor p950i coming next mt,how true,3g,2mp,mp3,smaller also..k800i and s800i also coming, look like se is going full steam and nk better watch out..
Hey there guys,
I have been using this phone for about a month now. Me and my dad bought phones simultaneously (He bought an o2 Mini). Now, let me give you my opinion on both the phones.
First of all, the camera quality on the mini was "bad", considering the fact that it is supposed to be a 1.3 megapixel camera. Frankly, I'd expect such a camera to do very well, but it didn't. But, my P910i has only a VGA camera. And, the "quality" of the image that it clicked was far superior to the O2 although the resolution was admittedly only 640 x 480.
Secondly, the sound. The sound on the Mini is absolutely AWESOME. This is one area where the Mini beat the P910i hands down. No doubt in my mind that the speaker of the mini is better than the SE both in terms of quality and volume.
Thirdly, the software. I must mention here that I did have a bit of a problem getting good software for a UIQ phone since SE P910i is a UIQ based phone. There's a lot of good software out there for normal Symbian phones, but not for Symbian UIQ phones. Here also, the P910i unfortunately loses, but not by much because there is some amount of good software available.
All in all, I would say that the P910i is a good phone and so is the O2 Mini. But, considering the fact that both my father and I paid the same amount for both the phones (the costs differed only in terms of a few hundred rupees), the P910i loses in the "value for money" section.
But, let it not deter you if you're gonna buy a P910i. All said and done, it is a very good phone and I would reccomend that you buy it if you actually like it.
having a hard time deciding between this handset and the nokia 7710, erm which is the better handset, me mainly wonderin what the format for the videos that you can watch on this handset, i know that on the 7710 it has real player, can this play real player videos or even windows media, etc, i just need to know which would be better for me, as it will mainly be used for playing videos
there is an article at www.mobile-review.com which talks about the new P950!!!! is this real? any idea about this new product? as i read it has 262K screen, 2 Mega pixel camera (same as K750i), UMTS, TriBand, Mp3.....
So... the fone which is always hang consider better to u. wat a pity. My p910 never hang before. it also has keyboard for me to type message with one hand easier. it is also easier to hold coz we hold it vertically, not horizontally like 7710. :)
Dear Friend. I m from Dhaka. I want to buy a used P910. If any 1 want to sell it please inform me.
If it is from Turkey or Singapore then it will be convenient for me.
now im using nokia 7710. i think 7710 better than se 910. 7710 has nice picture quality, nice sound. camera quality is very nice in day light. but one drawback is somtimes its hang,n needs to open battery. otherwise its a cool mobile. thanks to nokia.
im considering between a o2 mini, p910 and 6680, which will suit me? im a student.
and a question to p910 owners, can a pc game be installed and played in the p910? assistance is much appreciated. thanks.
Rumor in Bangalore has it that the P1000 is a month or so away from launch...can anyone confirm
i am a hardcore nokia fan but this one from se is a bombshell. the audio quality is trademark se style crystal clear. ui is version 7 where as currently 8 is the latest one available. can u wait for p1000???? cam is hopeless :-( lack of edge and wifi is again dissapointing. overall a good buy as far as user satisfaction is considered.
you indeed can install windows mobile software in Symbian OS fone since they are both of open platform which is with some sort of compatibility. Softwares such as MSN messenger, Opera Web Browser, RealOne Player, Winamps.... can be installed. However, I reckon you mentioned about installing the whole windows OS, which is NOT possible to change.
is there a programme for zooming the camera
...samtimes i took picture there are same blue line on picture, how could we destroy them?
u cannot use windows mobile fone software for this fone of course. u must use the one which is compatible which is UIQ base.
This fone camera cannot zoom it or zoom out. for taking foto(with good light condition) it is good. but for video it is so bad i can said. this fone has no wifi.
Somebody has given the link to download SMAN previously. try to read the previous post. it should be no more than 10 pages behind. gud luck....
If u people can wait then wait for p915 or p1000. If not then choose the fone which meet ur own preference.
Could we inistall mobile windows on p910i
N' use like a pcket PC?

The best way to get software is to buy! I provide software collection for sone p910i/p900/p800. A DVD with software + games + themes + ringtones + screensavers + wallpapers + movies. Email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
To those whose ringtone are not so loud. The problem is you have to choose the loud songs, for example: Yeah, I Like That. If you choose soft song as ringtone, so it's not gonna be loud. Cheers. Happy with the super excellent mobile phone!
