Here is the Update from Dubai on the delivery of the P990i(Delivery for all those who have made the pre-order booking). The Latest news is the delivery is scheduled for September 2nd,a postponement from the earlier dates of August 14th,August 21st,August 28th.........i am surprised and dejected....SE if you are listening..I can get a Boeing 747 made and delvered for the time you guys have taken...i have lost hope and slowly losing interest in the phone.
P800 is a retired phone, but you are wrong when you say it's not comparable to others. The P800 and P910 are only different by a few points: Outer casing, resolution, camcorder application, and keyboard. This is the exact reason why I didn't upgrade it to P910 in the first place. And by talking about P800 I was talking about the symbian UIQ line in general, and again, everything else except what I have listed is the same for both P910 and P800. To be honest, if you don't even know this much, you need to do a lot more research before buying your next phone.
Well it is available...and with slight software bugs..but over all an awsome phone...no big carriers ( O2, Voda Phone) have it beca they still consider it as it have a lot of software bugs..but well i donot think so..i am using it and it is perfect..beautiful interface...feature packed. WIFI works Perfect,2 MP autofocus Camera, Internal QWERTY keypad is useable unlike P91o beca it lights up and its placing inside makes it very easy to use, rejecting call with a text message is something new. and the legendry features of P9xx series..
i got mine for 983$ USD from www.sntradersonline.com. and it came with 2 GB Card ( paid a bit more for this)...but over all i am one of the first to have it..and it is in Full Retail box. and they shipped me real fast...i donot know why it is still not available in many areas and how in canada they had it since last week.
UK fans, orange might have it in their stores by saturday next week or wednesday next week! so watch out for this. Also on orange web site they will not e-mail you when the phone is out...this option does not work!! aahhhh

one of the best phones...it is a legend in phones. so holding it wonot only will give you a feature packed phone..but also the feel of a legend..a name...
My last phone was a P800, I use an Atom now, my girlfriend is using a N80 so I play with it all the time. I know which is better in what ways so here they are:
Ease of use at first: P800, N80, Atom
Camera: N80, Atom, P800
Speed: Atom, P800, .............. N80
Applications available: Atom.... P800, N80
Sound: N80, P800, Atom
Generally, the phones are for different audiences so you people should stop comparing them.
N80 is for those who don't care for a touch screen and want a camera, a nice music player, and the occasional email check.
Atom is for people who want freedom of applications that are made for windows mobile and a feel of a palm/laptop.
P800 is a phone for people that want a hybrid of both but not exceling at much.
on the P990, can you edit: excel , word , PP documents ??? or u can just view them like the old P900's???
Just for my curiosity... do any one ever do benchmark for N80 and look how fast is it ?... let say use the SP Mark Java 06 or J Benchmark application to measure it...
