i am using this phone too, bad pt seem to be when taking or viewing at video clips, it appear very small size.. and i think cannot be improve.. and after i use about a month, the swinging part seem to be "A BIT" lossen. but it still all right.. sometimes i use halfway it hang, but not that often... too bad that it is not a symbian phone.. beside than that, is stil a very good phone!!! so u still buying?

man i wud love to buy this phone but there are somethings tht i need to know about it.
(1)what is the max size memory stick that it can have?
(2)Is it symbian or UIQ?

Yesterday I bought the phone... IT'S EXTRA-SUPER-GIGA-TERA-FANTASTIC!!!! I've never seen a phone better than this one. Besides the memory stick, it has 34Mb memory phone!(which i didn't know). SO... now i'm happier !!! YEEEE!!! S700 rulzzzz! Buy it and don't regret it !!!

To copy movie clips to your phone, you must encode the mpg clips to mp4 clips. Search on the internet for the application PVAuthor.
To Coverert the recorded movie clips on the phone to avi, Search on the internet for the application Miksoft mobile 3gp converter

hi i have had this fone for 4 days now i find it the best ive used i have had a 7610 and a se p900 b4 this i find this the best.
it has awsome sound for mp3 playback the camera is super clear and its still pretty clear even if u zoom in all the wway the esign is awsome although it is a bit big but its an amazing ne overall.
but i have 1 problem that i hope sum1 can help me with in the manual it says u can choose unlimited or limited my fone hasnt got that option it says normal or messaging n da most it will do is 2 minz and anpother thing with the video when i record a video it records it in a really small screen and it playsback small 2 so can any1 help me if i didnt hae those 2 problems i would giv this fone a 10/10 but now its sitting on a 8

yes, u can simply buy a bluetooth adaptor for tranfering data and songs... or but a card reader...that will be faster but need to take out MS...

Can you transfer mp3 files from your PC to phone with the kit included in the box it comes in or do you have to buy cables and adaptors etc. ???

The s700i does play MPEG4 however a lot of MPEG4 Files will not work. Most MPEG4 Files I find are for the P900 and P910 and wont work on the S700i. I had the same problem with the X3. Again it played MPEG4 files however the majority I found on Internet never worked.

to set as ringtone this phone only support MP3 format ONLY, no WMA format at all... for video it says can use MPEG-4, but i still can't see it on my phone after tranfering... it says error unable to play.. anyone knows?

If you set a pic to any contact, that paerson's pic will appear whenever he/she calls od sms's. I have it in my S700i. Its a great feature.

can anyone let me know (a) how i can get my camera pictures from my phone onto the ericcson website & (b)how can i print them? is there a third party website where i can attach my pictures & print them.. my last Nokia phone had a Kodak button where the pictures could be sent direct tio kodak who would print them.. i have no printer on my pc so cannot do it at home.. any help woukld be GREATLY APPRECIATED.. thank you

oh during you normal calls, just press the centre/round button of your phone, and choose to turn on speaker!.. enjoy!!!

I don't know this phone actually, but right now I'm testing S700i and it's beautiful, a really nice phone, maybe the nicest so long between all the phones that I've been working on.

i dont know if you can do that when someone sends you a SMS but i know you can set that option for phone calls(see the picture of who's calling)

i read that in the latest firmware you can record up to about 30 mins :)
my question is, is it true you can set a picture so when someone sends you a text it has the picture of the person who sent you the text ?
