Bruce_UK, 13 Jan 2010Going to get a new phone this friday.... which should I go for the HTC Touch Pro2 or the Sony ... moreThese phones, as you may be aware, has different OS. Satio being symbian-based with excellent UI customization compared to ordinary symbian OS phone, while HTC Touch Pro2 is a WinMo device. If you are keen on slide-QWERTY keyboard and more knowledgeable of Windows Mobile device then go for HTC Touch Pro2. On the other hand, if you are looking for a multi-media device (12Mpixel camera, excellent video recording) then go for Satio. Since I am more on photography and love video recording I bought Satio. HTC are excellent device too but it depends on what functionality we need from a cellphone because I believe we cannot have everything we need from a single phone unless a "personalized phone" that suits to our requirements in a single device.

Anonymous, 13 Jan 2010wich of this three phones is the best nokia n900 sony ericsson satio iphone 3gs and thank... moreI've got both Satio & iPhone (but I've got the first iphone i.e. 2G). I love iPhone only because of its excellent internet connectivity particulary browsing experience it's just flawless. I use my iPhone for my Yahoo, gmail, facebook, twitter, all internet related. The rest that I require from a cellphone is excellently provided to me by Satio; from bluetooth to camera, video recording, etc, etc, etc. I never tried my Satio to any internet connectivity. But when XPERIA X10 will be available in the Middle East, I would definitely use X10 for all my internet connectivity because of X10 unique Timescape UI handling all your internet stuff in one application, meaning you don't need to open multiple application. Regarding N900 (Naemo OS based) I have no idea at all since Naemo OS is very new (I think) to the world of mobile phones.
wich of this three phones is the best
nokia n900
sony ericsson satio
iphone 3gs
and thanks in advance
KD18, 13 Jan 2010Hey! I have this Phone for a month now, and i have found nothing against it! it's the best pho... moreI've got my Satio more than a couple of months ago and I would also say it's wonderful. Anyway, have you tried your video recording and how's the audio? As I have posted here, my audio recording is very bad you can't almost hear any audio being recorded. I recorded my voice but it's so very, very weak. I updated to the latest firmware but still does not fix it. I think this is the only issue that I've got with my Satio and aside from that it's brilliant phone. Hopefully, this issue will be fixed on the next firmware update.
Hey! I have this Phone for a month now, and i have found nothing against it! it's the best phone i had! I recommend this to everyone who wants to buy a new phone!
I agree with GSMARENA review that the xenon flash of Satio is not strong enough to take a decent photo in low lighting environment but in a well-lighted area it is superb as well as the video recording. Unfortunately, the recent firmware update of Satio does not fix the problem on audio recording. I just hope SE will fix this issue on the next upgrade, and most importantly, SE should include equalizer with MegaBass to make the sound better. The sound for me is loud enough but the problem is you cannot even hear even a little bass on it. I compared my old P990i and far better because P990i is equipped with equalizer (Mega Bass). So, SE please include equalizer for Satio in your next firmware upgrade to make us SE fanatics even happier because we have spent a lot of money for Satio. Hence, in totality I am very happy with my Satio - red Satio is so gorgious. Now, I am waiting for the monster X10 to be released in the Middle East, I really can't wait.
Those who are complaining that Satio doesn't have contact kinetic scrolling, what you can do to have a full kinetic scrolling for all your contacts is very simple. Just include all your "contacts" in the "Favorite" and Bingo!!!. Note that the default is only 8 contacts in the "Favorite" but you can add as much as you want. However, no search mode in this area but all your contacts are arranged alphabetically.
Hi, is there an app for S60v5 devices that will emulate a cracked screen??

Unfortunately for me, most of my pics are landscape ( hope a new firmware update sorts this out )
