As for being slow on WAP... well nobody uses WAP any more. If what you mean is it was slow on the internet, then the problem is almost certainly poor signal or slow network. The phone itself has great connectivity and performs great when paired with a good network.
As for freezing, mine has only done it once or twice in several months of heavy use. Most problems people have seem to be related to either 1) bad branded firmwares; 2) dodgy apps they install or 3) just not knowing how to use Symbian properly.
I very much doubt Android would have made this phone better since Android still can't do things like send files via bluetooth!
SE Satio is a camera phone rather than a smartphone and I prefer smartphone instead. In my opinion, in order to be the most competitive smartphone these days, you need to break limitations in every mobile standards. Example, combined the best features such as high res camera (12.1MP), at least 720p video recording, high res/AMOLED capacitive screen 16M Colors, at least 1GHz dual core processor(with separate dedicated processors for applications, graphics acceleration, Digital & image signal), 5.1 Surround & DNSE, at least 512MB RAM and 32gb internal memory.

Generic (or unbranded) phones don't really give many troubles, and I'm assuming yours is unbranded? Purchased from Axiom Telecom perhaps?
Jennifer, 01 Jan 2010Haha, does the weather app you said to install.. require internet to check up on the weather ?Of course not... the phone is so smart that you can actually expect that it predicts weather by itself!
Smartphone if you know what I mean.. lol =)

The way to solve your problem is to go to the shop where you bought it and change the battery... or send it to technical support so they can swap your battery 'cuz it ain't normal to last only 2 days... this unless you spend all day long operating with it.. if that's the case, now you know why it runs out in 2 days.
hey guys i want ur suggestion which phone is better satio or hero.i am going to buy it in a few days
An amazing phone by Sony Ericsson, the interface is as same as Nokia N97, just the camera difference.
The processing is slow compared to other phones, has a good quality and battery back up !!
I dont know y people r complaining so much abt the phone 2 reasons only 1 the phone is really not good or they dont know how to use it. I dont agree to the 1st reason as i am using it since the day it was realeased in uae and it never crashed no software or hardware issues yes battery gave some problem earlier but cause i didnt charged it well the 1st time, but i have almost all applications which i had in N97, dvd ripped movies & everything works even better & faster than N97 the best thing is the response of the phone, what i would say it is much more stable than N97, which i guess was one of the best nokia phones these days.
I'm planning to buy a phone and my choices are SE Satio and SE Xperia X2, which of these 2 were better? thanks in advance for you opinion...
Will the sound recording problem of Satio be solved by the new firmware update? This is the only issue or problem with my Satio since Zi bought it 2 months ago. Thanks for your help,
this is a very nice video for satio lovers :
Red satio functions:
i have the chance to try many off the new smartphones as i help in an idipendant mobile shop.i have had a day with this very plastic feeling phone. not a good build at all. the unit itself is a t mobile satio.i find it to be very slow on wap.and so far it has frozen twice. turned itself off during tex program. i find unit hard to get to grips with. the camera side off phone is ok infact very good.but at its price there are far better pices off kit out there if it was android it would be far better buy. although there is a unit to come soon. my view is wait cause if u enter a contract or buy this phone u could be possibly or will be disapointed. but if you can't wait give it a go but don't expect the world
