SE ... moreeveryone look at THE GADGETS SHOWS review of the satio
i have a satio, i was skeptical at fisrt but after playing witht for about an hour i dont know how i ever used windows mobile, the phone is truly amazing, my friends are envious, and when i'm in front of a great moment all i have to do is snap open the lens cover and take a shot! Truly amazing, well worth a 700.00 USD Christmas present to myself, by the way i wrote this using my satio! Thanks SE and Nokia! ;)

SE Satio is the number one phone in the world.
If they told me to choose between satio and angelina jolie, I would choose the satio with out any second thoughts trust me.
SE FOR EVER!
I am a happy Satio user.
I have been looking forward to getting this phone eversince it was announced. But like most of you here, I also had my doubts.
I have gone through a lot of thinking. And decided to buy the phone.
It is not perfect. But so far, the only flaw I could find is it's symbian os. I still wish Sony used their own interface or anything other than what is known for Nokia phones. It may not be as touch sensitive compared to an iphone but its not a big deal, I have an ipod touch. Needless to say, I dnt need the lacking equalizer on Satio bcoz I am happy with my Ipod touch. I just want a camera phone bcause i want to be able to take good pictures whenever and wherever with a gadget that i can also use to send sms and make calls.
Reviews on the Camera performance of the Satio showed that Samsung Pixon 12 was better. I have considered getting the Pixon 12 but my only dilemma is its physical design. It looked just like the rest of the Samsung Phone. I mean, if u look at it, there is nothing special but the fact that it has a 12 mp camera capability. Hypocrasy aside, I want to show off my phone. Well, it is an expensive phone. I might as well get a compliment on how beautiful it is. Do u get what I'm saying?
So, I got the Red Satio.
I bought mine Dec. 18, around 3 pm.
It had some battery in it and didnt bother to recharge it. In the evening of the same day, I went out with friends. Took a lot of pictures at the party, 56 to be exact. Plus the calls I have received and made and the sms. I was surprised I had enough battery charge to make through the night that I didnt recharge my phone until noon the next day after I woke up.
I have the phone for more than a week now but i swear I never had any problem with regards to its battery or responsiveness or hanging-up or lags. I have not even updated the firmware.
Oh, I even dropped my phone earlier today..clumsy me.
If one day I'll have some problems with my phone, then I will deal with it. Even new cars break down. Or a laptops or pc. Nothing is perfect.
If you want a Satio, or whatever phone. Think about it first. Then if u ended up getting a faulty one, perhaps u dont deserve it. hehehehe.
Devesh, 27 Dec 2009sometimes pressing the red button minimizes apps you can check runnin apps by holding the menu... moreyeah i new how to do that but like most poeple i guess we just press red button to back out not press menue n close every program individually hence y i say symbian ui is not user friendly at all n hope andriod is better?
rich k, 27 Dec 2009thats crazy so if im messing around with my satio then quickly back out of a program like you ... moresometimes pressing the red button minimizes apps you can check runnin apps by holding the menu key for 3 secs
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970sony e only a low 5% market share in mobile phone industrie nah said.
hey guys i have few questoins on satio. I am kind of confused about the umts 3g part. most web sites say satio supports umts 900/2100. but on the specification page it says it supports umts 850/900/2100 also. I am thinking about using ATT 3g, so it needs umts 850.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970one thing i hate about satio is its music player, it is not that good... i think it is the worst masic player i ever had.. the sound is just soo bad.
BUT, in the other hand, it is the best camera phone (i had n82 before) also, the resistive screen of the phone is very sensitive but not that sensitive compare to my itouch..
SO GET SATIO IF YOU LOVE CAMERA
satio is a great phone
i dont get why you guys keep complaining about the resistive touch its working just fine! you guys need to know the difference between resistive touch and capacitive touch ..
resistive - is when you actually apply force on the screen to get an input from your phone.
capacitive - is when you put your fingers to the screen and it gets the "charge" coming from your fingers so if you're wearing gloves you wont get any input from your phone since the gloves block the charge from your fingers.
so far i have no problems with the satio. Satio is the best! my previous phone was nokia 5800 but until now no Kinetic Scrolling .. :(
Anonymous, 27 Dec 2009wats ur problem no ones askin u 2 insult the phone
i have a satio and i don hve ne problems a... morethats crazy so if im messing around with my satio then quickly back out of a program like you tube which is very easy to do (even thou it should pause and freeze the video) and yr telling me the battery on satio will go down quciker thats nuts cos yr everyday joe wont always go through to the menues to press the exit option they will just back straight out with the red button like me n other phone users normally do lol
im not really impressed with x10 it hasent got one feature that any other phone will be able to do. i.e htc 2, i phone 3gs, onima hd. and ive never used andriod before prob like alot of poeple in this room symbiain got rave reviews but when u actually use it its very non user friendly compared to normal sony e software. so until i use andriod i will take it with a pitch of salt before i start saying x10 best phone in the world.
satio problem against pixon12
1-very low ringing tone.
2-software problem always freez
3-picture quality you can see white sadow and pail color on photo
samsung pixon12 is the winner on this.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Hey, I was confused just like you, both are great devices. I chose Satio, cuz I have been SE fan, and I liked the design. I have to say that even Satio is big for me, so what would OHD be! Be careful with the size, if it's too big it would give you a bad experience. Satio is great, but OHD is more stable, cuz it's older. Satio will give you better multimedia experience(with the awesome media app). Be sure you won't regret anything if you go for any of them.
