what are the difference between this phone and the Samsung Pixon12? i cant choose between them
Hi all,
Last few days ago, i read daily about satio opinion to decide whether should i buy satio or not.
some said satio is suck, some are not.
but now satio is in hand it's ok.
i've updated my satio. all are work great.
it dosen't freeze.
But i dont like battery life, speaker, and media browsing style.
battery last only 36 hr.
speaker is mono and volume is low.(nokia louder than satio)
i cant watch pictures folder by folder.
i cant adjust music equalizer.
hope that sony ericsson will correct that problem.
Except that , all the other features are great.
Ohh.... one last, some of the symbian softwares that work ok on nokia, dosent work on satio.(eg: KIller moblie total recall" But it's a little percentage.
PS: no one can be perfect.****
this one of the strangest and on the other hand interesting mobiles to have .
you cant ignore tha fact that it will catch your eyes ones you see it and i am proud also to have one .
BUT
from all the big contenders like NOKIA , SAMSUNG and LG there is a company that needs to be remembered as a leader in technology and inovations and that SHARP
go and see that new model of Sharp mobile SH936 with solar panel and perfect screen , and here were sharp is the strongest . sometines i wonder that we are so closed to these 5 companies as if the others do not exisit .
the problem is that Sharp is only availabe in japan and beleive me if it they start to market there mobiles outside japan , many companies will feel some competition .
I'm still thinking A Mild is lighter than GG though its taste is worse.

jase, 13 Dec 2009I noticed that the us sonyericsson site has take out satio from their line up. guess us versio... morethis is not for america
this is for professional countries like japan and UK and SWEDEN and ETC
I noticed that the us sonyericsson site has take out satio from their line up. guess us version of Satio is not avaliable after all, and there's no point buying a u1i knowing the 3g is not working. I hope every american just stop buying any products from sony. All they sell in america is overstock and unwanted product from japan and the rest of the world.

I think you should either go for the Satio or XPERIA X10. The screen is bigger and you have a an awesome UI. This one is good too!

I have a question, I can't run MicroPool game on this, it installs, but when you run it, you see nothing but a black screen, I used to run it on my 5800 and I loved that game, dose any one have any solution?
Anonymous, 13 Dec 2009XPERIA X10 of course! Big scree, sexy design, 1GHz processor, awesome UI, and lots more. Or th... moreI want all in 1 device. Because I love to take pictures, listen to music, video, internet browsing n chatting, olaying games, and do my business all with 1 phone. It's impossible for me to put 4 phones in my pocket. SO tell me, which phone that suits my needs?
Joey, 13 Dec 2009Agreed, Satio does have a better spec on paper than n97/n97mini. But trying Satio for real wil... morenot true.
wifi/browser has no problem. it is just the same with other symbian s60 5th.
the reception is OK. MUCH MUCH BETTER than my iphone 3gs.
I LOVE THIS PHONE. i just traded my 3gs with this phone.
just look at the design (especially the red one)
just look at the camera..
just look at the speed (im talking about processing, try to delete hundreds of messages, it takes only about 2 secs compare to n97 that takes a million years! LOL)
a little more update to UI will make this phone a monster!!
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970XPERIA X10 of course! Big scree, sexy design, 1GHz processor, awesome UI, and lots more. Or this phone too! This phone is also really awesome and if you love taking pictures, this is perfect for you! And for business the X2 is better. It really depends on you..
Cheth20, 12 Dec 2009After the latest Firmware update did anyone notice any improvement in the following ?? 1 - Pe... moreJust buy another set of earphone. The supplied ones are rubbish and has low sound output. I bought a short 3.5mm adapter like walkman's and plug in my own set of earphones. Even without megabass, sound output is still great.

1 - Pe... moreno1: never try the swiss manager like u
no2: yes...the loudspeaker during call is very2 low even lowest i think...dunno why
no3 : no equalizer....same like u..mine R1C037...no features added but more bugs solved
Anonymous, 12 Dec 2009The Satio has a 3x more powerful processor than n97. It also has a graphics chip which is real... moreAgreed, Satio does have a better spec on paper than n97/n97mini. But trying Satio for real will reveal a different story. The internet is very slow and does not perform well. The signal reception on data fluctuates between 3G, Edge and GPRS. First i thought this was a network issue, but when i tried it on my collegues Omnia II, it works perfectly. The Wifi is extremely poor and when running apps such as bloomberg, the phone freezes and has to restart. Besides, there is no equaliser on the music apps too and sound output from speaker is very bad. I think the n97mini speaks quality and with loads of apps at Ovi, its simply the better choice for symbian lovers.
The new firmware has not done much to the performance of Satio, its just an eyewash if u ask me! I think the Omnia HD was indeed a better model but again it lacks applications.
After the latest Firmware update did anyone notice any improvement in the following ??
1 - People havent realized that the battery indicator at the top of the screen is NOT reflecting the real battery level. To see the real level try Swiss manager for symbian or just go to Google maps already present in the mobile and go to "About" option. This will show the real battery level. My battery does not last for a day(less than normal usage)????
2 - When on call you switch on the loud speaker, it is tooooo low???
3 - No equalizer to change the bass / treble....music does not sound like the SONY ones??? Very bad!!! I tried LCG music player, has bass and treble option, but even the max sound gives low output??
Any fixes for the above 3.....pls let me know....thanks in advance!
satio is the best ever!
