More Japanese SE phones will come here to Europe, eg the SE Kurara smartphone! ABout Japanese phones, Sharp said they will enter to the European markets with smartphones! They probably will enter in America too. Panasonic will enter too on European markets with Android phones! :)
Marius, 29 Oct 2009I just bought this phone in Bucharest, Romania.
It's beautiful and the photos are wonderfull.... moreNokia N82 is an old model!!! :))
Recent models are much better - not only from Nokia.
There are several better phones than Satio!
not as smooth as on video....need a litle press on the screen....bit laggy....
omnia hd with latest fw seems more speedy....
I just bought this phone in Bucharest, Romania.
It's beautiful and the photos are wonderfull. It is strange that in the review posted by GSMArena team the photos are not so well made. Hmm!
i had until now Nokia N82 but this phone it is much better in all areas. I'm delighted!
Satio,Aino, and Yari were made by Japanese team of Sony Ericsson. That's why these brand names sound Japanese words.
There are more exciting mobiles in Japan.
I hope that Japanese mobiles are sold all over the world.
this phone does not has dual speaker which make me disappointed :(,
does anyone knows a reliable site that has enough enough information about kurara and susan ?
as it is mentioned in some sites that kurara is satio lite . and kurara is only 5 meg camera and maybe it could be an andriod phone .
so looking from the new sony ericsson policy side there wont be many mid range phones but as it seems that the 2 said phones are almost mid range .
i never understood these leakage informations that is emerging now and then for the sony ericsson mobiles , , they should stop this and stop allowing their employees to leak information out the company .
a good policy would be to announce a phone and to be on the market maximum in 2 months

SE introduced some phones with great cameras (but only for still photos). I hope the coming-up XPERIA X2 will do better, and I'm waiting for it to be among my considerations for the next buy. I'm also considering HTC HD2, which seems to have gained the highest voting rankings among all other phones.

It doesn't need sim card.
I updated my satio and now it works great!

sony ericsson has better presence in the middle east than in the Gulf region , , gulf people are so obcessed with nokia that they see nothing else..
i hope that sony ericsson will produce better range phones to attract more people next year
Arak, 29 Oct 2009i agree with you for all your comments but i dont agree that sony ericsson is not user friendl... moreYou're right. If you get used to SE, you would find it user-friendly, but this takes more time than getting used to Nokia and Samsung. And as I said, SE is a little bit more professional, and when you deal with SE you feel that it's more professional, and that's why many people say SE is the best. In fact, SE may be better than Nokia and Samsung in many areas - but not in photography and video recording - especially after Samsung introduced W880 (3X optical zoom cameraphone). On the hand, the idea that Nokia and Samsung are more user-friendly prevails not only in the Arabian Gulf, but rather in the whole Middle East and Europe.

I'll apologise if I seemed aggressive or anything like that, just proving a point.
To each his own then? You prefer the P12, I prefer the Satio. Lets leave it at that?
It's been interesting to see your opinion though.
Cheers for that.

Don't be so fanatic and agressive, be logic and learn to think and recognize the good things and bads. I said you should read what's between the lines. Moreover, the market confirmed GSM Arena review - Satio is far cheaper than P12 (I8910), and the price gap is widening.
