Very interesting news, visit the link guys!
The new Sony Ericsson phones in the wild!!!
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970You are right, I know him, he is that annoying mstl Ip guy, who wants to bash, and to bash SE! I think he is not normal, he can't write a good thing, only negative things. I wrote him my opinion, but my comment got deleted. :D
I wrote yesterday about 2 new waterproof phones, here is the link!http://www.unwiredview.com/2009/10/09/sony-ericsson-susan-and-sunny-to-be-rugged-waterproof-phones/

I just get fed up with the comments from everybody who has never seen one! The old technology with good interface and software is going to make one fantastic phone!

nick, 09 Oct 2009that's a firmware issue. battery is fine on the innov8 now :)
but sony ericssons only have ... moreAnd from where does that "stress" comes?
What does omnia HD does that Satio doesn't besides stretched video recording @ 24fps ?
MPXL a.k.a mstL, no one yet has using this phone to find how far its 1000mAh battery could go.
(To Be Continued)
Anonymous, 09 Oct 2009Oh please don't even brought up battery life in here. Cause samsung is worse in that departmen... morethat's a firmware issue. battery is fine on the innov8 now :)
but sony ericssons only have good battery life because their features are so poor! the phone doesnt have anything which would be power consuming!
the satio might be different, but the omnia HD has far bigger stress on the battery than this thing does
Anonymous, 09 Oct 20091000mAh isenough may be if you make a few calls - but for ´UNLIMITED ENTERTAINMENT´??? No way!... moreOh please don't even brought up battery life in here. Cause samsung is worse in that department. Check out Innov8's forum. All their complaint is battery life and even S8300 owner have the same dilemma.
I bet that peps talking about Omnia HD haven't seen one yet live... cuz it's HUGE and square... unfortunantely it's an ugly device.. and the reason it has 1500mAh battery it's because it has plenty of room to it... so please don't compare it to Satio.. which is much much much more beautiful... omnia HD is oversized!!! hardly fits in your pocket =)
I phoned my local MPC today to ask about satio. he said he had none in stock but would try to get me one. Hope he calls back soon :)
I take it by the lack of reply that MPXL has not had his hands on a Satio so he has no business commenting in the way he is on the Satio!
He is just upset that his little phone will be less of a phone than the Satio!
Satio has a better video recording than an Omnia HD simply because the Satio records at 30FPS while the Omnia HD only records 24FPS... Satio is definitely better as it records in high quality while the Omnia only records in a very low quality video with stretched video size.
Anonymous, 09 Oct 2009Satio needs:
- 1500mAh battery
- OLED screen
- 16GB internal memory
- 3.5mm jack
... more1500mAh battery? Sorry, but Li-Polymer Battery is way better than an outdated Li-Ion
OLED screen? Very week when your outdoors, that's st*p*d!
16GB internal memory? That makes the phone weight like a brick so it's ugly.. Memory cards are better.
3.5mm jack? Hello? Ever heard bluetooth headphones...
HD recording? I'd rather have a small video with a very high quality rather than a resized video just to achieve HD with low quality..
I replaced my wired headphones for a bluetooth stereo headphone set a long time ago, when I was using a nokia N95 best thing I ever did! Have used them with several phones since!
Kal, 09 Oct 2009If TFT is fine 128 MB internal memory is fine 1000mAh battery is fine Lack of 3.5mm jack i... moresee tft with 16m colors is enough to provide great crisp pic. and it has a decent under sun visibility which is better then amoled so both screens have there own advantage and also xvid/divx support can be achieved through 3rd party software and u r rite it lack 3.5 mm jack but still we are reluctant to buy this because its the only 12mp smartphone with nhd gaming......
Kal, 09 Oct 2009There you go. You know that's exactly how once Motorola fans used to defend their beloved phon... moreI have never bought a phone in my life, they have always been free on contract, I still insist on having the best phone for the purpose I need. The aruements don't all hold up on here. The quality of the Satio will rely on;
1, Quality of build
2, Quality of software
3, Quality of interface
If they have taken the delay in launch to perfect each of these the phone is going to wipe the floor of the rest of the smart phones if not the satio will be another SE flop.
We now have to wait for the launch date to get our grubby mits on the beast to see what SE have done with it! I hear there are some changes since the demo modules were released and software issues have been cleared up.
It's no longer a ground breaker but it's going to be amoungst the top smart phones and so priced in that region.
