well i am sure SE has a good reason to use a 1000mA/h.. smaller and lighter..etc..
i wonder tho if there are any latest news on the satio... it would be great to use better lenses..etc.. BUT i just hope it does not get too expensive for us..... =P
Anonymous, 29 Jun 2009Is Aino japanese too??Look at the name, Aino. Aino is a name in Japan, so is Japanese too.:) Sony Ericsson Japan now is focusing in the European, and American markets. They left the biggest carrier, Ntt Docomo just to help Sony Ericsson(Sweden) to make better phones for the rest of the world. So Sony Ericsson will be stronger than never before!!! Sony Ericsson 4ever!!!:D
J, 30 Jun 2009For the love of ... Would you people stop with the battery! If any one has read the Sati... moreu r very correct cos if u look at the pixon 12 u would notice it has a 1000mah batt and is also a resistive touchscreen. But dont worry about satio's 1000mah battery cos SE always has outstanding battery life.
i think this is a brilliant phone the question is what is the cost

Would you people stop with the battery!
If any one has read the Satio specifications has noticed that it has a resistive touch screen. And any one with five minutes of research or basic knowledge of touch technology can tell you that resistive touch screen, among other benefits, consumes way less power than capacitive on the grounds that it does not have to refresh constantly to detect if there is a finger present, where resistive only draws power when it's being touched to generate the signal (this explained in layman's terms).
Yes Omnia HD and other phones has a 1500 mAh battery, but most of them have a capacitive touch screen which requires that much more power to operate the same amount of time.
And if the phone can operate the designed time with a smaller battery there are benefits to that too:
- less expensive to produce
- requires less time to charge
- it ways less & takes less space (slimmer and lighter phone)
- requires less harmful materials (generates less waste)
So can we drop this until the final specs and talk/standby times are out and please get some constructive posting done?
if only idou enjoyed a better battery (round 1500mah) & a 3.5mm audio jack, it will be second to none.
it's a very disappointing idou when s.e forces it to perform a 3.5 inch touchpanel with a 1000mah battery.
ma bro bought nokia n97 in White and it's really a good phone... I am confussed wat to do... either wait tell October or buy n97.... I am really confussed.... I log satio because of 12 mp.... but n97 has better looks with keyboard....

Anonymous, 29 Jun 2009 and teh aino model.. what do u think... You had one of the two in your hands?.... I does not kept any of my hands, coz is very new, will be available in October worldwive. I think is a very good phone, run the latest Java platform, has a good camera, has DLNA, Playstation function, has touchscreen, 3.0 inch screen! Both are good models, Satio is better, but the price is NOT the same. If you have more money, chose the Satio, you will not regrete it, coz was made by Sony Ericsson Japan, they are the most advanced on Earth(Japan), look at Sharp mobile phones, they have 10MP CCD camera phones. So you can trust the Japanese companies, Japan is ahead of America with 5 years in electronic products.
Mobilemaster, 29 Jun 2009If you like to take photos, choose the Satio, coz has a 12MP camera, is a smartphone too! The ... more
and teh aino model.. what do u think... You had one of the two in your hands?....
pabloandres, 29 Jun 2009Somebody could teach me what´s the diference of G models and W model a K models... that letter... moreIf you like to take photos, choose the Satio, coz has a 12MP camera, is a smartphone too! The difference of the K series(now C series) from W series is:the C series phones are focused to the camera quality, the W phones(w is for Walkman) are for music, the G series mean Generation Web, the P series mean Pda, or smart.:)Xperia phones are the high-end smartphones from Sony Ericsson.
Somebody could teach me what´s the diference of G models and W model a K models... that letter have something special?? and i look this Satio phone and i love it, but also i liked the Aino model..... What do u think about this models, which one you recomend me??? (i like to take few photos, dont listen music frecuently, but i really realy like them to be smart..easy connection, handly, bluetooth, etc.) so wich one do you say??
Thanks. and one more thing. Im from South America, so please be easy with the lenguaje so i can understand you... Thank you all!!!!!!
an se fan, 29 Jun 2009there will be an american version of Satio (Satio(a))..and sally
That Satio(a) for the Americas uses HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100, which will work with AT&T not T-Mobile. T-mobile works with HSDPA 1700. Even if you put a tmobile sim on this above said Satio it will work as regular phone but you will not get 3g support. Hope this makes sense.
