Hope Ruriko is another great phone from SE
Kal, 08 May 2009Lets not act like boys with toys..I have this, do you have it $hit. Sharp has a phone with XGA... moreSahrp has a phone with 10 MP CCD camera, 3,3 inch screen, Samsung does not have such a phone right now sorry! Sharp and SE is the best!
I think ruriko will be idou's final name and it's final specs too. All the specification matches those of idou's. I think the one on mwc was just a concept and the final one will be codenamed ruriko. The only difference will be that it's running on symbian. ;)
Kal, 08 May 2009Lets not act like boys with toys..I have this, do you have it $hit. Sharp has a phone with XGA... moreI am the true mobilemaster, from another computer!
Yes, Sharp has a phone with XGA screen(Softbank 930SH), and has a phone with HXGA unnanounced, they are the best in mobile screens, believe me! And the Idou is very good, not only the camera, the Operating system is better, will run on the Symbian 2 OS. I admit the screen is better, and bigger than the Idou, but not the screen is everything, I thing 3.5 inch is enough. The internal memory will be big, some people say will have 16 Gb internal memory, and the phone has TV function, like in the Bravia phones from Japan. And the phone can record full VGA videos. Maybe I spoke some things that are not true, coz the Idou is not unnaunced yet, wait till 28 May, and you will see is a great phone.
Kal, 08 May 2009Lets not act like boys with toys..I have this, do you have it $hit. Sharp has a phone with XGA... moreyes I can tell you about the other advantages 1.better user interface, 2.better sound qaulity 3.better lens 4.better CPU 5.better design (not to mention things that you mentioned Xenon flash, 12mp camera etc)
Mohd, 08 May 2009do u live in mars??
japan has the most advance technology...
south korea maybe 2nd...
... moreWell I consider myself down to earth..jokes apart, I certainly think Japanese tech is expensive..yes they are hell expensive. The labor cost is higher there..But most advance? I have a think twice here. Not anymore, since south korae is coming up with those technologies with lower cost. Sony's fall and Samsung's rise as the top consumer electronics brand says it all.
I can give you a full page of reasons why and how that happend. But the fact is japanese supremecy in electronis industry has lost its glory to this south korean giant.
Mobilemaster, 08 May 2009Japan IS THE MOST advanced in electronicy, in mobile phones, in watches their are very good, S... moreLets not act like boys with toys..I have this, do you have it $hit. Sharp has a phone with XGA screen..so? Samsung has 10mp phone with optical zoom in Korea for years..did other manufactures were able to do it? Till date NONE. Those are useless arguments. I love Sony phones in japan..they are feature rich and has a distinctive look. I hope they release some to the rest of the world..same goes for Korean phones in Korea. It's good to see that they are coming out from there. japan and Korea both are at least 5 years ahead in mobile tech from the rest of the world. There isn't any study report suggesting who is ahead among them, atleast I couldn't find any. Just because idou is from japan..(which is yet to be confirmed), doesn't make it better than Omnia HD. Could you tell me just one ..just 1 thing other than having 12mp cam and xenon flash that makes IDOU better than HD. I don't see any till now.
an se fan, 08 May 2009not even a lie in your post, samsung chose to make what japanese avoid====> throw their domest... moreI'm indeed waiting for that to happen. I wish those Japanese SE phones are for worldwide release.

nokia use the best lens of the world so there is and lg will might overtake samsung with it's shneider- kreushnar lenses but the 12 mpx exmor cyber-shot will surely be awersome and give back to se it's position in imaging quality.
Kal, 08 May 2009Please update your knowledge about Japan being most advanced tech in display panel. That was t... morenot even a lie in your post, samsung chose to make what japanese avoid====> throw their domestic phones in the worldwild market that's why they are congratulated and evolve very fast because they take advantage of all the carasteristics all the global market.
But you know what ?? sony ericsson is starting a brend knew strategy using the japanese counterpart to concept new smartphones because ericsson fail with the xperia x1 and sales are crashing.
So more entertainment unlimited mean more japanese concepted phones doesn't it sounds great ?
