chris, 25 Mar 2009mobiles are not gettin smaller these days becuase now they are tryin to fit more and more tech... moreot getting thinner???
Have you seen the Toshiba unit?
But Samsung Omnia HD is thin compare to models a year ago.
2-3mm makes a huge difference.
Models loaded with features may be around 12-13mm currently.
Probably by 2010 will be 10-11mm.
15mm already to thick today.
Anonymous, 25 Mar 2009no matter of MAh batery. we all know SE has the best batery life and will be so. oops i forgot... moreDo you know Sony had to recall 5.9 million laptop batteries in 2006 and hundred of thousands in 2008 because of overheating causing minor property damage and two minor burns.

Anonymous, 25 Mar 200915mm thickness for the 2010 market is a brick! 15mm is the thinest part. The part including the lens cover will be approx. 18mm.
At least 1500mAh needed!
1000 mAh is just what SE does when decides to sabotage a good idea.
LiPo battery in theory is nice but SE has nothing but trouble with those!!!
Not even April yet.
We have at least 10 months to discuss a phone which does not exist.
By that time, phones will have HD camera, projector, etc. what ever you can think of :9
At best Idou will have the specs we can see - not much.

I thought it could be a best cell phone but I don't know why SE put a weak battery for this cell with it's big performance and display which needs at least 1500 Mah. it is unbelivable.
how much is the memory it only says micrSD not sure upto how much GB? Anyone ...?
D@rK, 24 Mar 2009and to ppl who always keep posting rumors on and on like Sony and Ericsson going to be apart,
... morejust incase anyone hadnt noticed or is to ignorant to realise, this whole website is based on rumours...when the phone gets released all the stats on here will change! i work in a well known mobile phone retailer and even the sony reps dont know much about it! ...and as for sony and erricson parting ways..its only because erricson are pushing for a psp device and sony kicked up a fuss!

SonyEricsson you really need to think about the battery life. Thats probaly 24hrs with use before charging again??, its sick to release a incomplete product that will cause an inconvenience to your customers. I hope nokia/samsung etc release similar fuction phones with silicon string technology in Q3 so that people can boycott your good yet unpractical product.
