i cant see it being that thin once its made, look at the c905 and how fat it is with only an 8mp n its not touch screen. im not very hopeful of sony ericson that much due to software problems on most of there phones. only sony phone that hasnt had problems is the x1 and that is only becuase HTC made it.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Donno the price yet, but i think it should be USD800+
Although it may not be immediately apparent this device's success is important for the company and as a showcase for the Symbian Foundation. Once this hits the shelves it will probably be as successful as the C905 has been and even match the K800i's solid sales. This device also proves tubu the company are best when focused on higher end devices rather than producing handsets with cost being the main consideration. This year will be crucial for Sony Ericsson.
i know these guys @ SE can do it. they have the tech to make it happen. if you want a good camera, then buy a camera. i think this is only a show off to say " we're the boss in camera phones".
what r u saying, by having great camera we have a complete package...this r the one i been waiting for...
Nisar, 17 Feb 2009is it s60 or uiq...???SE won't use UIQ anymore, after joining Symbian foundation.
rumors this phone will be using latest Symbian s60 5th edition.

From the trail of comments and opinions, it can be seen that we all have different taste and preference when it comes to choosing which phone to buy. So it would be waste of time to convince another person to what we believe to be the best.... the more we try to prove something the more the other person will try to prove their own. The only common thing that we have is that we buy phones that caught our attention, trends, budget and the functionality.
Hopefully, each of us will find the right phone that suits are needs and wants... It's your choice and your money... Hehehe Good Luck!!!
As a photography enthusiast
(as well as a gadget freak!) I have indulged in my fair share of technology lust, spending more than a bit of my discretionary income on digital cameras. What I have discovered over time is that megapixel ratings often have little to do with image quality. The newer model digital cameras do not always match older models in image quality.Yet, marketers are bent on convincing us that we can never have enough megapixels. 12MP is absolute insanity.Manufacturers are relying on users lack of knowledge.
I really want to save for this phone but I want to use T-mobile's 3G and sadly this does not have 1700 on hsdpa... oh well, still find this phone very pretty!
no OLED and 3.5mm audio jack?
i think samsung omnia HD is better..
but, xenon flash and 12mP? its good..
arghh, cant decide!!!!!!
every keeps saying nokia is wonderful they cant even put a good speaker in a ph but se does that this new one looks good to buy
Sony Ericsson has sucumbed to the GIMMICK culture! 12MP is all about attracting the masses..intelligent people know MEGAPIXEL is just a marketing tool and in a normal 6 x 4 snap you wouldn't be able to differentiate between 5mp and 12mp. SE using Symbian OS is another terrible mistake....now we're going to see a bunch of spotty faced kids, dumbo's and generally low level individuals using SE smartphones.
