Sony Ericsson Spiro - user opinions and reviews

good day everyone. i find this phone cute and i was planning to buy this since its cheap and can be used as a media player.
with all these negative feedback, i want to ask those who experienced problems these questions:
1. what was your free phone memory during the crash/error(problem)? i mean the internal memory is 5mb and based on previous experiences with SE phones like k750, c510, and k500, the phone hangs and slows down a lot when the free memory is less than around 10% of its memory(say the specs says it has 40mb internal, when the free space is only about 5mb, i experience a lag/slowdown)
2. does it support multitasking?
3. does it have unlimited memory for SMS/MMS?

My opinion is the same as many users, don't ever buy it. Its the worst phone i've ever had.
*Doesn't play all the songs
*Auto-restarts when you take a pic
*Bluetooth error conection
*It freezes a lot
*And many other bugs

my advice is never ever buy spiro buy ceadar.
walkman or not cedar is every bit excellent in video and audio playback with the walkman 4.0 embedded in it.
the speaker is feeble though.but through headset,it can break your ear in the highest volumes along with that it got the best calrity audio output.

It's a NIGHTMARE which lasts sooooooooooooooo long! It has many different problems that I can not chose which one to talk about and getting worse every moment that passes!

Yes this phone shuts Frequently incases when
-a video is being taken and saved
-all times when u connect to A PC (a card reaDER IS BETTER TO USE)
-some times when u are going through the menu swiftly
and how can i overcome these
and

but music quality is goood

My hobby is phones, I try them ALL. Firstly, Sony Ericsson do you not test your phones software before release? The Vodafone UK version has a faulty equaliser. 1. Mega bass DOES NOT FUNCTION. 2. You have to reset the equaliser settings each time you play a track! Ok, lets say it's Voda's custom rom whatever this is inexcusable totally. You need to recall ALL product!!
While I mention SE, plwase get rid of the silly light sensor in your x10 mini, no ability to disable the darn thing. The alternating light levels are a nuisance, and as every other Android 2-1 handset has an option to disable why don't you??
(Actually, I'll address this just to Ericsson, Sony have I expect a few more important issues to be occupied with. My sincere condolences to those in Japan who lost their lives recently.)

i couldn`t set the equililer mode on treble boost every time i select a song it come to normal mode please someone help me

Buying dis fone was my biggest mistake it really gets hanged up frequently n applications are also slow seriously recommend the company to stop production of dis piece........Dissapointed by dis mobile

Really difficult to handle phone. It gets hanged up every now and then and restarts very often especially when the radio is switched on.

as long as I wear handpon sony ericsson sony ericsson ... this is the model of the system do a bit excessive .... unlike other models ... although the older model ... but a good system .... maybe sony ericsson want to make new changesto the the model new kinds of Spiro (w100) ... but the excess on the model is very pretty ni ... and exposure dimensions rather clear .... but strong swallow beteri power is too ....

Never Buy sony Ericsson Spiro. It has following problem
1. Restarts all the time
2. When I turn it on takes 1min to start
3. I can't change the appearance of Walkman
4. Can't install themes
5. When I use camera it restarts
6. There's no so many settings
7. PlayNow have no themes, games, applications to download
8. When I disconnect call it take 30 seconds to 40 seconds to disconnect phone
9. Many time it restart when I disconnect phone
