just bought this phone a couple of hours ago.
set the ringtone to maximum and could barely hear it out of my pocket let alone in my pocket.
took it back to optus and they are going to check if this is correct or just a faulty phone.
cool looking phone i just hope the ringtone can be set loud enough to hear!!!!

I must say good fone,,user friendly etc,,a ladies fone alright...I am battling to set up mxit on it,,have registered but cant use it becoz there is not enough memory on this fone,,can the software be updated on this fone ti increase the MB,,AND HAVE A MEMORY CARD PUT IN

TO EVERYONE THAT ARE DISCUSSING THE 303 vs. 303i issue:
The "i" means "international" and does NOT stand for an improved version. It means that the phone has more languages installed, other than the original Swedish, Finnish, Norwegianm, Danish and English. However, SonyEricsson has of recently mostly REMOVED the "i" at the end of the products name due to the fact that alot of people were confused.
Some even thought that the "i" meant "improved" :)

i have been thinking of buying this cell, but i am a little bit confused , because there are few resources that claims that there is also SE 303i.. is that true,and if so-how they differ SE 303i is better or what..dont get it ?

I hope Sony Ericsson will come up with a T303i (An improved version). This phone has great design, but functionality-wise, it's rubbish. Equip it with a bigger & clearer display, a 2MP camera and a Card slot and it will be the perfect phone for me.

Need alternatives, plz!
This SE T303 is about what I need because I am used to small models (Motorola v3688, Siemens SL55).
So far I only found Nokia 2760 (87x44.8x20.7mm, 80.4g) which is too old (VGA, dualband only).
Many flip, slider and bar type models are too large (~100mm).
Any suggestions? THX a lot!

Can anyone tell me if you can download message alert tones for this phone or can you only use the standard built in ones.
Ps I know you can download ringtones...but i can't seem to find any info on message alert tones

this phone is not the type that i like. its nice and small but other than that it is rubbish. the screen is not bright enough. if you text to quick then it just all slows down. i understand why its so cheap. i would recommend it for other 60s because they will not mind about the camara been so bad. the camara is only 1.3 mega pixel. i find that really bad. this is not a phone you will want to listen to music on because you can only fit one long song on it. but thankyou anyway phones 4 you. xx
